ALMOST ZERO LOW-FAT BISCUITS
Almost zero-fat, these delicious non-guilt biscuits are tender and fluffy. I have for years called these Zero Fat Biscuits but, due to an insignificant amount of fat in the flour, they are now called Almost Zero Low-Fat Biscuits. Just follow these easy step-by-step photo instructions.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400° convection or 425° regular.
- Combine 2 cups AP flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
- Add 1 1/4 cup nonfat yogurt. Fold in until all dry is incorporated. If you use Greek yogurt, you may need a tablespoon or so of milk.
- The easiest is to do 8 drop biscuits. If you want to cut biscuits, spread the dough on a floured surface about 3/4 inches thick. You can cut six 2 1/2 inch biscuits or eight 2 inch biscuits.
- Place your biscuits on a PAM sprayed baking pan.
- Bake until golden brown. About 12-15 minutes.

REDUCED FAT BISQUICK MIX (WHOLE WHEAT)
This is based on minor modifications made to recipe #55564, including use of King Arthur's White Whole Wheat Flour, which is a great-tasting whole wheat flour. Using this new version, along with a simple Bisquick pancake recipe, I made a great batch of 'non-healthy-tasting' pancakes. I can't wait to test out other Bisquick recipes! Nutritionally, this is higher in everything you want it to be higher in (fiber, protein, etc.) and lower in everything you want it to be lower in (calories, fat, sugar, sodium, etc.) than the Bisquick Reduced Fat mix.

WHOLE WHEAT BISQUICK MIX-HOMEMADE
Another great recipe for Bisquick- you will want to make and store at room temperature for 6 weeks ;or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Use as you would Bisquick.

Steps:
- 1. Thoroughly stir together all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, buttermilk powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- 2. With pastry blender,cut shortening into dry ingredients till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Drizzle honey over flour mixture. Mix well. Store in covered airtight container up to six weeks at room temperature.
- 3. Before measuring,stir mix lightly. Spoon mix lightly into measuring cup, level off with flat edge knife.
- 4. For longer storage, place in a sealed freezer container and store in freezer for up to six months. --- To use: Allow mix to come to room temperature.
