this is hcg phase 3 approved, i use it to do sandwiches, or for my pizza crust, or even for tacos, (if you use it for tacos, just make sure don't put oregano).

Steps:
- to prepare the cauliflower, take a fresh NOT FROZEN cauliflower head and cut the florets of and put them in a microwave safe bowl.
- DO NOT ADD ANY WATER OR LIQUIDS! put in the microwave on high for 40 minutes, mixing them half the way.
- with a potato masher, mash the cauliflower, if is still hard, cook a little longer in the microwave.
- when completely cooked and finely mashed, measure a cup.
- mix 1 cup of the mashed cauliflower, and the egg, for better blending, use a blender.
- put on loaf pan with parchment paper making sure that it evenly distributed, sprinkle with oregano, and bake at 450F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- if using for sandwiches, let cool down before using, if using for pizza as soon as out of the oven add your pizza toppings and bake until the cheese is melted.
- enjoy.

- In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Mash with fork or masher, or if smoother texture is desired, use a mixer or blender till desired texture is achieved.

- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the cauliflower florets, core slices, onion, garlic and rosemary. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the cream and a good pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and let cook until the cauliflower has softened, about 5 minutes.
- Use a blender or immersion blender to puree until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with parsley and serve.

- ** These are just suggestions, so please add more or less depending on your taste. I like my chili spicy so I tend to add more chili powder, cayenne and black pepper.
- Saute garlic over med. heat using a little liquid so your garlic won't burn. Add beef and let brown, be sure to keep moving it around so it doesn't burn since this is EXTRA Lean beef and there is practically no fat. Add more liquid if you need to about a Tablespoon at a time.
- While meat is browning dice up tomato and puree in blender, add a little broth or water to help it move around a little in the blender if needed.
- Once meat is brown add the tomato puree and 1/2 cup of the liquid. Begin adding spices, try a little at a time if you are unsure and then add by taste. Let the chili simmer on med/low heat for about 15 min or until it reaches the consistency you like. I like mine a little thicker so I let it cook about 15 minute.
- Suggested Meal Ideas: 4 Stone-Ground Wheat Thins with Grilled Zucchini.

QUICK SAUTEED ASPARAGUS - HCG FRIENDLY
A quick, flavorful recipe I came up with that fits into the Dr. Simeons Hcg Protocol during VLCD phase. Add spices to taste. **Trimming the Asparagus: Just hold each end and snapping it -- it will naturally break off the tough part. You keep the flower end for cooking (and should have nice longer spears). If you like, the "tough" ends can be kept to be used in vegetable stock or for other used later. Saw this on Cook Yourself thin!
