HAWAIIAN STYLE PASTA

Steps:

• Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
• In a medium saucepan over medium heat, toss cooked pasta with tomato pasta sauce, pineapple and salami. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce begins to bubble, about 10 minutes.

HAWAIIAN PIZZA PASTA

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, saute the mushrooms, onion and pepper in oil for 5 minutes or until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add the tomato sauce, bay leaves, oregano, basil and sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. , Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Discard bay leaves from sauce. Stir in the pasta, 5 cups of mozzarella cheese, pineapple and ham. , Transfer to a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.

HAWAIIAN PIZZA PASTA

Steps:

• Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta 6-8 minutes until al dente (It will cook more in the sauce).
• Meanwhile, add 1 T. of olive oil in pan, saute onion and garlic until softened.
• Add tomato sauce, spices and juice from pineapple, bring to a boil and reduce heat.
• When pasta is almost done, add pineapple chunks and ham to sauce mixture, again bring the sauce to a boil and then reduce heat.
• Drain pasta and add to sauce mixture. Stir to combine. Sprinkle cheese on top, gently stir to combine and let sit 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted.
