Not only are natural treatments usually eco-friendly (think "going green"), but they are usually better for you and cheaper, too! Many people don't realize that everything we put on our skin gets absorbed by our skin, so when we put chemicals on our skin, that's absorbed, too. Think about the patches used for prescription drugs - skin absorption!

Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

1 - peel from 1 grapefruit
2 tablespoon(s) fresh grapefruit juice (from grapefruit above)
1/2 cup(s) olive oil
1/2 teaspoon(s) borax

Steps:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and gently heat in the microwave or over a pan of water on the stovetop until very hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely. Strain the mixture and pour into a clean container. To use: Use in place of soap to cleanse your skin.
