EASY Honeycrisp Apple Crisp image

Apples really aren't at the top of my "favorites" fruit list, and I've never tasted a crisp that made me think about it all day...until now. This in another FABULOUS recipe from my daughter, Cara!

Number Of Ingredients 7

9-10 honeycrisp apples
1/2 c water
1 tsp salt
cinnamon
2/3 + c butter
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2. Butter bottom and side of 9x13 pan
  • 3. Peel, core, and slice or chop your apples and add to pan
  • 4. Add water and salt
  • 5. Sprinkle generous amount of cinnamon over apples
  • 6. Mix butter, sugar, and flour together until well blended and spread over apples
  • 7. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350
