Ingredients

1 lime wedge
Chopped toasted shredded coconut, optional
2 ounces cream of coconut
1-1/2 ounces blanco tequila
1 ounce Triple Sec
1/2 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
1 cup crushed ice

Steps:

Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle coconut on a plate; dip rim in coconut. Place cream of coconut, tequila, Triple Sec and lime juice in a blender; add ice. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and additional coconut.

2 oz. tequila, good quality
1 oz. Cointreau citrus liqueur
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz. coconut milk
1 oz. cream of coconut
Lime slices
Unsweetened flake coconut

Steps:

Blended/Frozen Instructions: To a blender add 1 1/2 cups of ice, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut milk and cream of coconut. Blend until smooth. Pour into prepared glass and garnish with lime slices and coconut flakes. Enjoy right away while cold.
On-The-Rocks Instructions: To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut milk and cream of coconut. Fit with lid, and shake well. Fill prepared rocks glass with ice. Pour/strain cocktail into glass over the ice. Top with lime and flake coconut, if desired. Enjoy right away while cold.

Place the coconut flakes into the pitcher of your blender. Use the Pulse setting to grind the coconut flakes into a fine powder. Transfer a tablespoon of the coconut powder to a small flat plate. Add a tablespoon of flaked salt to the plate and mix it into the coconut powder.
Rub the rim of two margarita glasses with one of the lime wheels. Invert the glass and dip the wet rim into the coconut-salt mixture. Set aside.
Rinse out the blender pitcher. Place the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, agave nectar, and ice into the pitcher and process on the Icy drinks/Smoothies setting.
