Love the flavors of Panda Express Orange Chicken? I found that the Panda Express Marinade/BBQ Sauce sold in stores goes great with ramen noodles, too! Cheap, yummy and quick!

1 (8 ounce) package oriental-flavor instant ramen noodles
1/8 cup peas and carrots, frozen
1/4 cup packaged coleslaw mix
1 egg
1 tablespoon marinade, Panda Express Orange Chicken

Steps:

  • Boil ramen the noodles and drain.
  • Ad some oil to a frying pan and stir fry the cooked ramen, veggies with some of the flavor mix from the ramen noodles.
  • Scramble one egg into the stir fry.
  • Add the cole slaw mix and stir fry until ramen are golden brown.
  • Add a tablespoon of Panda Express Marinade for flavor, stir and serve.

PANDA EXPRESS COPYCAT FRIED RICE



Panda Express Copycat Fried Rice image

This is a copycat version of Panda Express Fried Rice. If you use leftover, cooked white rice, skip step 1.

1 cup long grain rice, uncooked (or 2 cups leftover cooked rice)
2 cups water
2 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter, divided use
1 cup frozen peas and carrot, thawed
1/4 cup white onion, diced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (or more to taste)
1/8 teaspoon white pepper, ground
1/8 teaspoon table salt (or to taste)
1 green onion, diced (including green tops)

Steps:

  • If you are using leftover, cooked white rice, skip this step and go to Step 2. In a covered saucepan on the stove top, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. When the water reaches a full boil, stir in the rice. Stir to bottom of pan a few times to make sure all rice is moistened and not sticking on the bottom of pan in lumps. Return water to a boil. Reduce heat to a very low simmer, place lid on pan and simmer for 20-minutes.
  • Place cooked rice a in large bowl. Set aside until needed.
  • Scramble eggs in skillet on stove top with 1 Tbsp of butter. After eggs are cooked, chop the scrambled eggs into pea size bits with spatula.
  • Stir the chopped scrambled eggs into the bowl of cooked rice along with the thawed peas and carrots and diced white onion. Stir until mixed uniformly.
  • Melt 2 Tbsp of butter over medium heat in a large skillet on the stove top.
  • When the butter is melted and heated to sizzling, add the rice mixture to the skillet. Stir and saute the rice mixture for a minute or two.
  • Mix the soy sauce with sesame oil in a cup and sprinkle evenly over frying rice mixture in skillet as it cooks.
  • Saute rice mixture for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring and turning frequently with a spatula until mixture is lightly browned.
  • When done, season with ground white pepper and table salt to taste. Remove from heat.
  • Place in large serving bowl and garnish top with diced green onions.

1 (8 ounce) package ramen noodles
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Cook the noodles in water as directed on the package. Drain. Transfer cooked noodles into a small skillet that already has the sesame oil waiting. Then just lightly stir-fry. Finally, sprinkle about half of the seasoning packet onto the noodles and toss them in the skillet until well mixed. (You don't need the entire seasoning packet as the flavor is strong since you're not dilluting it with water.) Plate and serve!

I stumbles across this recipe and had to try it, just because it was so outrageous! To my surprise it was a nice crunchy twist on regular Ramen Noodles. The best part is you can use any flavor Ramen and any type of oil or sauce you like.

1 ramen noodle pack; we used chicken or shrimp
sesame oil
teriyaki sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Fill a medium-sized (large enough to fit the ramen block with 1-2 inches of space around it) non-stick frying pan with water, half-way. Heat the pan with the water to a boil.
  • 2. Place ramen block and sprinkle the soup base (if you like it) too. Let the ramen soften, flip it if it's still solid so that it is evenly moistened. Use a fork to loosen it up. Let the ramen soften some more, and if the water evaporates, great!
  • 3. If there is still water in the pan after 3 minutes of cooking, drain the water. Slide the noodles off the pan and into a clean plate.
  • 4. Drizzle some oil in the pan and let it heat up at Maximum heat. Once the pan is hot, slide back the noodles into the pan. Evenly distribute the noodles over the pan.
  • 5. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of sauce. Let it fry. Occasionally lift the ramen to check the underside. If it's brown, use a spatula to flip it and let the other side cook. Let the other side fry. Again, lift and check. If it's brown, slide it off the pan and into your plate.

  • Brown meat over medium high heat,in a large skillet; drain.
  • Add vegetables, water, soy sauce and the flavoring packet from the ramen noodles.
