- In a small bowl, beat the first four ingredients until smooth. Spread on both cut surfaces of bread. Layer lettuce, turkey, cheese and tomatoes on bottom half of bread. Top with the other half. Cut into serving-size pieces.

- Mix together the mayonnaise and italian salad dressing.
- Toss the lettuce with 1/4 cup of the dsressing mixture, set aside.
- Brush cut sides of bread with remaining dressing mixture. Fill bread with lettuce mixture, meat, tomatoes, american cheese and green pepper. Cut crosswise into 8 slices.

Steps:
- Mix together, mayonnaise, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Spread on bottom of loaf.
- Line with lettuce leaves.
- Arrange layers of ham, swiss cheese, bologna, American cheese, salami, tomato and onion.
- Sprinkle with red wine vinegar.
- Cover with top half of loaf.
- Cut into desired lengths for serving.

FOOT-LONG TURKEY HERO
Steps:
- If using whole tenderloins, us a sharp knife to cut each in half horizontally, making 4 1/2-inch-thick steaks. Rinse turkey; pat dry. Brush with oil. Sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning. Place turkey on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 in. from the heat for 4 min. Turn & broil for 4-5 min. more or until tender & no longer pink. Top with cheese; broil 1 min. more or until cheese melts.
- Use a serrated knife to cut bread. Spread botom layer with about 2 Tbsp. of the tomato mayonnaise or mayo. On bottom half layer greens, turkey, & onion. Spread top bread half with 2 Tbsp. mayo. Place a top sandwich.
- Tomato Mayonnaise: In a blender container combine 1/2 cup mayo or salad dressing; 6 dried tomato halves (oil pack), drained & cut into quartes; 1 tsp. lemon juice & 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed. Cover; blend until combined. Transfer to a small container Cover; refrigerate until needed or up to 2 weeks. Makes 1/2 cup.

ITALIAN HERO SANDWICH
This is the sandwich to make when you want an attention grabber! At a good Italian delicatessen, you'll be able to find the peppers and sliced meats as well as a crusty loaf that will hold all the fixings. Steps:
- In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, oregano, mustard, salt and pepper.
- Stir to mix well.
- Whisk in the olive oil until incorporated.
- On a work surface, lay out 3 long pieces of plastic wrap, placing them side by side and slightly overlapping.
- Place the bottom half of the loaf over the wrap.
- Spread the pepperoncini and cherry peppers over the bread.
- Scatter evenly with the lettuce and layer with the tomatoes.
- Drizzle with a few tablespoons of the dressing.
- Layer the meats, one at a time, over the tomatoes, making sure to distribute them evenly.
- Top with a layer of provolone cheese.
- Drizzle the remaining dressing over the cut side of the top of the loaf.
- Place on the layered sandwich and enclose in the plastic.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or for up to 4 hours to develop the flavors.
- To serve, unwrap the sandwich and slice into large pieces about 3 to 4 inches wide.
