This Beef and Broccoli recipe is easy and delicious! The perfect weeknight dinner that's ready to be enjoyed in under 30 minutes! Made in one skillet with big, bold flavors, this Beef and Broccoli stir fry is so much better than takeout!

1 pound flank steak
3 tablespoons light olive oil (divided)
4 to 5 cups broccoli florets (1 head of broccoli or 12 ounce bag of florets.)
⅓ cup water
1 cup beef stock (236 mL )
5 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos 118 grams )
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha (or red pepper flakes, optional)
1 tablespoon minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
½ - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (paste or minced)
3 teaspoons sesame seeds (optional)
3 green onions (sliced, optional)
red pepper flakes
cooked rice for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • If you have time, place the steak in the freezer for 30 minutes. *This step isn't necessary but it does make the steak easier to slice.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3/4 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1 clove garlic
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1 can campbell's cream of broccoli soup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups broccoli florets

Steps:

  • In 10" skillet, over med-high heat, brown beef with garlic and onion in hot oil for about 3 minutes.
  • Stir in soup, water and soy sauce.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Add broccoli.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Cover; cook 5 minutes or til vegetables are tender.
  • Serve over rice or hot cooked pasta.

3/4 lb boneless beef sirloin steak
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
1 can(s) cream of broccoli soup
1/4 c water
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 c broccoli florets
hot cooked wide egg noodles or rice

Steps:

  • 1. Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips.
  • 2. In skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned.
  • 3. Add onion, cook 5 minutes, stirring often
  • 4. Stir in soup, water, and soy sauce.
  • 5. Heat to boiling. Add broccoli. Reduce heat to low.
  • 6. Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 7. Serve over noodles or rice.
