QUICK GARLIC LIME MARINATED PORK CHOPS
These garlic lime pork chops are so EASY to make, and they only take 10 minutes to cook. I usually make them in my broiler but they are also great on the grill, they come out juicy and SO flavorful!

Steps:
- Trim fat off pork. In a large bowl season pork with garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Squeeze lime juice and some zest from the lime and let it marinade at least 20 minutes.
- To broil: line broiler pan with foil for easy clean up. Place pork chops on the broiler pan and broil about 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned. To grill, grill over medium-high 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

- Mix salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder together in a bowl. Sprinkle spice mixture generously on both sides of pork chops.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Cook pork until no longer pink in the center and golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Transfer pork chops to a serving plate, reserving juices in the skillet.
- Add lime juice and garlic powder to the same skillet and mix into leftover juices. Stir to combine and pour over the pork chops.

- In a small bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Pour 1-1/4 cups marinade into a large shallow dish. Add the pork; turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Cover remaining marinade for basting; refrigerate., Drain pork, discarding marinade. On a lightly oiled rack, grill chops, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. If desired, top with chopped cilantro.

- Place the pork in a shallow dish, add the lime juice and garlic, turn several times to coat. Well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle both sides of the pork evenly with salt and pepper.
- Heat half of the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add two of the pork chops, cook 2 minutes to brown on side. Set aside on separate plate, browned side up. Repeat with remaining oil and chops. Turn pork chops, add the reserved pork chops, reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 9 minutes or until pork is no longer pink in center.
- Remove pork and set aside on separate plate. Add dressing to liquid in skillet, stir until completely blended. Place pork on top of sauce, sprinkle cheese evenly over pork, cover and cook 2 minutes to melt cheese.

- Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
