1 egg
1 box stuffing
1 cup water
1/2 cup BBQ sauce or ketchup (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients together until combined. Don't be afraid to use your hands for this.
  • Press in a bread loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Optional: Add BBQ sauce or ketchup to the top.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes and enjoy!

This is a very easy and no fail recipe for meatloaf. It won't take long to make at all, and it's quite good!

1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 cup milk
1 cup dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
⅓ cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk and bread OR cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan, or form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Mix well and pour over the meatloaf.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.

This is actually a recipe of my grandmother's that I have sized down. Her recipe feeds about a dozen people, but now that I am living on my own, the recipe makes way more food than is necessary for the amount of people I need to serve. So I tried sizing it down, and it worked, because there wasn't anything left for leftover. (This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled to meet your families needs.)

1 lb ground beef, thawed
1 egg
1/3 cup oatmeal
1 cup chopped onion (about one large onion)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper (regular pepper will also work)
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (regular salt will also work, kosher is what we prefer)
1/4 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In medium mixing bowl, break beef into small chunks.
  • Add egg, oatmeal, onion, spices, and ketchup.
  • Mix until well blended (you can mix with your hands, but if you prefer not to use that method, a large mixing spoon or rubber spatula will also work just fine).
  • Smooth mixture into regular sized bread pan.
  • If you like having a sauce on top, smooth some extra ketchup over the top of the uncooked meatloaf (this step is optional).
  • Place in oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until meat is cooked all the way through.
  • Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup frozen corn, thawed
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
4 ounces ground beef
2 ounces bulk pork sausage
1 to 2 tablespoons ketchup

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add meat and mix well. Shape into a 5-in. x 3-in. loaf. Place in an ungreased shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 minutes. Drizzle with ketchup. Bake 20 minutes longer or until no pink remains and a thermometer reads 160°.

4 tablespoons tomato catsup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 slice bread, crumbled
1/2 lb turkey or 1/2 lb veal

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  • In a small bowl beat the egg, milk, 1 Tbsp.
  • catsup, worcestershire, mustard, garlic powder, salt/pepper with a fork.
  • Mix well, beat in the bread; then add the meat.
  • Mix thoroughly to a pasty texture.
  • Use small aluminum foil baking tin (these can be found in the supermarket; they're disposal after use) and form loaf.
  • Spread remaining catsup over the top and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix Meatloaf ingredients well. Press mixture in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Bake 40 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Spread 1/4 cup ketchup evenly over top. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160°F. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
