EASY GRILLED CHICKEN TERIYAKI
Chicken breasts marinated in teriyaki sauce, lemon, garlic, and sesame oil, then grilled to a tasty finish. Very easy and great for a hot summer's evening. Leftovers are great on a green salad or sandwich. Be sure to grill very hot and very fast!!

Steps:
- Place chicken, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and sesame oil in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal bag, and shake to coat. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning every so often.
- Preheat grill for high heat.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Remove chicken from bag, discarding any remaining marinade. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes each side, or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork.

TERIYAKI CHICKEN
This Teriyaki Chicken recipe will quickly become a new favorite! In this one pan recipe, bite size chicken breasts pieces are sautéed in a skillet then coated with an easy and delicious teriyaki sauce. To make this a 15 minute recipe prep the sauce mixture while the chicken is cooking.

Steps:
- Heat olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add in chicken and let brown on bottom about 3 - 4 minutes then flip and continue to cook until center registers about 160 degrees, about 3 minutes longer.
- While chicken is cooking, in a small mixing bowl (or liquid measuring cup) whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and cornstarch.
- Stir the sauce in with the cooked chicken and continue to cook and toss until sauce has thickened, about 30 - 60 seconds longer.
- Serve warm garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

TERIYAKI LINGUINE WITH CHICKEN
Another family favorite. This recipe is quite versatile in that you can add any veggies you like, or change the meat or leave the meat out altogether.

Steps:
- Combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and 2 tbsp oil in a 1 gallon ziploc bag.
- Add chicken to sauce. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes to overnight.
- Cook linguine according to package directions.
- Add remaining oil to a very hot wok or large frypan.
- Remove chicken from bag, reserve marinade.
- Stir-fry chicken in wok until cooked through. Remove from wok, set aside.
- Add carrots to wok and stir-fry for 1 minute. Then add onion, pepper, chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. Stir-fry until veggies are crisp-tender.
- Add chicken and marinade to wok. Let come to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toss chicken mixture with linguine and serve.

- Cook noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until JUST firm-tender; drain and return to pot.
- Add in the sesame oil; toss to coat.
- In a skillet or wok heat oil over high heat.
- Sprinkle the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet; sauté until no longer pink (about 2 minutes).
- Add in green onions, sliced carrots and crushed red pepper flakes; stir-fry until veggies are crisp-tender but still bright in colour and the chicken is cooked through (about 2-3 minutes longer).
- Add in the cooked noodles and teriyaki sauce; toss well to blend.

This is a recipe that I adapted from Paula Deen. She used boneless pork chops. Everyone that has tried this recipe has just loved it. It's easy and really tasty.

Steps:
- Place one chicken breast in center of a square of alumium foil and salt and pepper.
- Layer onion and bell pepper slices and 2 pineapple slices on top of each piece of chicken.
- Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons of bottled teriyaki sauce over chicken mixture.
- Put 1 tsp butter on top of pineapple slice.
- Seal up alumium foil by folding edges together.
- Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. You can also put these on the outdoor grill on indirect heat. Serve with rice.

CREAMY CHICKEN ON LINGUINE

- In a large saute pan, heat oil, butter and garlic over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until juices run clear. Remove chicken from pan let cool and slice diagonally into long strips. Reserve oil in pan.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions on package. Drain.
- Reheat oil in pan, add onion and saute, stirring often, until onion is soft but still white. Add bullion cube and water; bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for approximately 10 minutes. Stir in cream, milk, green onions and Parmesan cheese.

- In a pot, put bouillon cube, water, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic.
- Heat until boiling when sugar and cube are dissolved.
- Add chicken and cover. Turn down heat but continue a light boil until chicken is cooked thoroughly, about 25 minutes.
- Take out chicken and serve.

- In a medium sized bowl, combine the Merinade ingredients.
- Add the chicken to the merinade and let sit for 20 minutes.
- (OPTIONAL) Now would be a perfect time to cook some white rice while you're waiting on that chicken.
- Heat a medium sized wok and empty the chicken and merinade into it.
- Stir fry the chicken on high heat for about 5 minutes. The sauce will thicken during this time.
