This can be used as a salad or dessert, and is a real kid-pleaser. It's also an easy accompaniment to bring to a potluck or holiday dinner.

Steps:
- In large bowl, add dry pudding mix to Cool Whip, and beat until blended, scraping bottom and sides of bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Turn into serving dish and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease the parchment; set aside., Place caramels and water in a small saucepan; cook and stir over medium-low heat 3-5 minutes or until smooth, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Dip each apple in caramel mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared pan. Refrigerate until set.
