Time 3h20m

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 11

½ cup ancho chile powder
¼ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon ground dried chipotle pepper
1 rack baby back pork ribs
1 cup barbeque sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Mix ancho chile powder, white sugar, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, cumin, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, and chipotle pepper in a small bowl until combined.
  • Place ribs meat-side down on aluminum foil. Prick back of rib rack several times with a knife.
  • Generously apply coating of dry rub to all sides of rib rack.
  • With rib rack meat-side down, fold foil around it to create a tight seal. Transfer to sheet pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven until tender and cooked through, about 2 hours. Remove and cool 15 minutes.
  • Increase oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Open foil, drain and discard any accumulated juices and fat. Brush barbeque sauce on all sides of rack.
  • Place rack meat-side up and return to oven, leaving foil open. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven, and brush another layer of barbeque sauce on meat-side only. Repeat baking and brushing with sauce 4 more times, for a total of 50 minutes baking time.
  • Cut rack into individual rib segments and serve with more barbeque sauce.

FALL OFF THE BONE BABY BACK RIBS

Fall Off The Bone Baby Back Ribs image

These Baby Back Ribs are the best ever! Marinated for 8 hours in a to die for dry rub and then slow roasted in the oven on low for 3-4 hours. Finished off on the BBQ where they are smothered in barbecue sauce. So tender these ribs literally melt in your mouth on the first bite.

Time 11h40m

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 racks baby back ribs
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup salt
2 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce (Or your favourite BBQ Sauce)

Steps:

  • Clean ribs, trim any excess fat and remove membrane from back of ribs.
  • In a medium bowl combine sugar, salt, ground pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Coat each rack of rib top and bottom with dry rub mixture massaging in so it is evenly and well coated. Stack in a large foil roasting pan and cover with foil to let sit in fridge for at least 8 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 275 F and bake covered with foil for 3-4 hours or until ribs are tender and start to fall apart when prodded with a fork. Depending on the cut of the ribs it may take a little longer to get to this level of tenderness.
  • When tender remove from oven. Preheat BBQ to medium heat.
  • BBQ ribs a few minutes each side basting with Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce or your sauce of choice. Be careful not to let them sit for long because the sugar in the sauce may burn.
  • Remove from barbecue and serve immediately.

KITTENCAL'S BEST AND EASIEST BABY BACK RIBS

Kittencal's Best and Easiest Baby Back Ribs image

Plan ahead these ribs need to marinate 8-24 hours, you can also cook these on the outdoor grill, punch a few holes on top of the foil to allow steam to escape and to absorb the smoke flavor --- use your own favorite BBQ sauce Sweet Baby Ray's good to use, the honey needs to be added into the BBQ sauce to tenderize so do not omit, the best thing about this is there is easy clean-up! --- and yes you can also make them on the grill

THE BEST BABY BACK RIBS

The Best Baby Back Ribs image

This is the very best recipe for ribs that I have ever had. The sauce is a very wonderful compliment to these tender, fall off the bone ribs. Everyone that has them wants the recipe. Don't let all the ingredients fool you. It is very easy to make. These are sure to be a big hit!

Categories     Pork

Time 3h30m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 lbs pork baby back ribs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup ketchup
1 cup chili sauce (I use an oriental style Sweet Chili Sauce by the brand Maggi but Heinz or similar chili sauce will d)
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon molasses

Steps:

  • Place ribs bone side down in a large roasting pan on a rack (if you have one, you don't have to use rack)
  • Combine garlic powder, seasoning salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over the ribs. Top with sliced onions. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 2 1/2 hours.
  • In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and this is your sauce.
  • Remove ribs from pan, remove onions and discard, and drain fat. Put ribs back in pan and brush ribs liberally with sauce. Cover and bake 25 minutes longer. Uncover and cook 5 more minutes. Serve with remaining sauce.
  • You can reduce the amount of ribs if you are cooking for a smaller group. I usually use 2 racks to serve 4.

EASIEST BEST EVER BABY BACK RIBS....

easiest best ever baby back ribs.... image

this is the "ask for" recipe from everyone the kids on their birthdays to friends and family that want me to "bring something".. the meat falls right off the bone... and it dosen't matter whats goin on as soon as I serve these ribs all is quiet...

Provided by Shannon Stapleton

Categories     Ribs

Time 5h30m

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 racks of pork baby back ribs
old bay seasoning
bbq sauce to taste

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven to 200 degrees first take racks our of their packaging and dry them off with paper towel. place them on a cookie sheet or baking sheet arch side up . sprinkle lightly with old bay seasoning. cover with *plastic wrap* to make a seal . then over the plastic wrap put aluminum foil making sure none of the plastic wrap is sticking out. put into the oven for 4 hours they will steam in the plastic wrap. make sure to check them at about 2 hours to make sure the plastic has not come off. if so. just wrap tighter with foil and reduce heat to 175 degrees. continue cooking till the 4 hours are up. preheat your grill. pull the ribs out of the oven. place ribs onto grill arch side down turn down heat for 5 mins (at this time you can add your favorite BBQ sauce or homemade glaze or keep them dry) I recomend only lightly covering the ribs with sauce just enough to get the flavor and carmelization of the sugar. too much sauce will ruin the ribs flavor.. turn ribs over and cook for 5 mins then they are done..

SLOW COOKER BABY BACK RIBS

Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs image

These are the best I've had, short of the actual grilling method of course! This is a very simple recipe that I came up with a few years ago. It's not rocket science, just ribs cooked in the slow cooker and finished in the oven. This is what I do when I want ribs during the week and have to work all day. I'm eating them within a half-hour of getting home, and they turn out perfect every time!
