Heater Won’t Turn On. When you find your heater doesn’t turn on manually, then the problem may happen for the following reasons: Power is not coming from the socket.
Heater Keeps Shutting Off. Your Duraflame infrared heater keeps shutting down due to overheating which happens because of the dirt accumulation inside the heater and air filter blockage, blown fuse, and a faulty thermostat.
Fan Not Working. Your heater fan will begin to malfunction when dirt accumulates in the air filter or the fan motor gets faulty. Plus, when your heater fails to reach its set temperature, the fan stops functioning.
Heater Not Heating At All. When you discover that your Duraflame heater not getting hot enough, be sure the main possible culprits are the faulty thermostat or blower motor and wrong ductwork installation.
Heater Not Producing Enough Heat. The heater fails to produce enough heat because of the power strip or surge protector. It can also be because the extension cord is being used and the unit location is exterior.
Blowing Cold Air. The main cause of your heater blowing cold air is the wrong assembly of the heater blower or the faulty blower. Solution: If you find your Duraflame heater not blowing hot air, replace the assembly of the heater blower.
Heater Keeps Beeping. While switching off your heater, you may notice the heater is creating beeping noise. You may also find the noise issue while the flames on.

Remote Control Is Not Working. Duraflame remote control troubles may be noticed when the remote control is missing batteries or battery power. It may be because of the poor signal or your distance.
