DUMP COOKIES

Dump Cookies image

I found this on another site, but nothing was said about the "dump" factor. They are quite tasty, and are easy to make.Baking times will vary from oven to oven.

DUMP BARS

Dump Bars image

The easiest fudgey brownies you can make without a mix. One of my most requested recipes--even my kids' friends ask for it!

Provided by vosmom2

Categories     Bar Cookie

Time 35m

Yield 13 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa
5 extra-large eggs
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray (or nonstick with flour spray).
  • Dump all dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir with a whisk to mix well (my version of sifting).
  • Add all of the "wet" ingredients and stir until mixed well with wooden spoon.
  • Spread in prepared pan and sprinkle the cup (or so) of chocolate chips over the top.
  • Bake at 350 for no more than 30 minute They are done when the edge just starts to pull away from the pan and a toothpick comes out with a little bit of brownie on it. I set my timer for 28 minute to avoid over baking them.

KITCHEN SINK COOKIES

Kitchen Sink Cookies image

Even though the ingredient list may seem about as long as a grocery shopping list, they're simple to make. In fact, these Kitchen Sink Cookies are so basic you can mix everything by hand; this helps to avoid over-beating, which may toughen the dough.

Categories     Food & Cooking     Dessert & Treats Recipes     Cookie Recipes

Yield Makes about 4 dozen

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light-brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup sweetened flake coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with Silpat baking mats or parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl with a wooden spoon, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Stir in vanilla.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir into butter mixture until well blended. Add oats, chips, coconut, raisins, and walnuts, and stir until well blended.
  • Drop batter by heaping tablespoons or with a 1 ounce ice-cream scoop onto silpat about 2 inches apart. Press tops down with the bottom of a glass to flatten cookies evenly. Bake until golden, about 16 to 18 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes. Remove from pan, and finish cooling completely on wire rack.
