Ingredients

2 cups white sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

In a 1 quart or 1 liter jar, layer the ingredients in the order listed. Attach a tag with the following instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In the large bowl of an electric mixer, cream 1 cup butter or margarine, softened. Add 4 eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add Brownie Mix and beat until smooth. Spread into greased pan and bake 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center, comes out clean.

Ingredients

1 cup butter
4 ounces baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
3 ounces cream cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

Heat oven to 350.
Melt 1 c. butter and chocolate in 2 qt. pan, stir til smooth.
Stir in remaining brownie ingredients, except chips.
Mix well.
Gently stir in chips.
Spread 1/2 of batter in greased or sprayed 13x9 pan.
Combine all filling ingredients in small bowl.
Beat at medium speed till creamy.
Spread over brownie batter in pan.
Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese.
Some cheese mix may show through.
Bake for 30- 35 min.
Cool Completely.
Cut into bars.

After the chocolate has cooled slightly, add in the granulated sugar and eggs. With a whisk or rubber spatula, mix in the sugar and eggs very well.
