I'm a New Yorker, and I can appreciate good pizza. I can also appreciate a taste and texture I like, and reliability, and that's what I get when I eat a Domino's thin-crust pizza. I probably won't stop ordering it, and the judgmental scoffs won't do anything to change my mind, but in the spirit of cooking, and hey, maybe even to try to make it healthier, here's a recipe for their thin crust for you to make at home. 1/2 cup canned, crushed tomatoes
1 cup tomato purée
2 tablespoon parmesan cheese
2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 tablespoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
pinch of ground cayenne
2 cup high-gluten bread flour
3/4 cup warm water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus more if needed
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried marjoram

Steps:

  • Make the sauce by combining the crushed tomatoes with tomato purée in a blender. Blend on medium speed for 30 seconds. Combine tomato sauce with other sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. When the mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool, then chill in a covered container until you make your pizza.
  • Mix the dough together and let it retard in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees an hour before you begin assembling the pizza.
  • Bring the dough to room temperature and roll it out into a very thin, round crust. Dock the dough but using a dough docker or poking it with holes using a fork. Bake the crust for 4 minutes before topping with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix together the cheese and dried herbs. Place on top of sauce and bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

Domino's thin crust pizza is crispy, crunchy, and thinnest pizza Domino's offers. It is prepared by using flour, salt, yeast, mozzarella cheese, BBQ sauce, oil, oregano, and the toppings of your sausages. Here, I have used fried sausages and bell peppers.

4 cups All-Purpose-Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Yeast
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
2 tablespoons Barbecue Sauce
1 cup Fried Sausages
1 cup Fresh Bell Peppers

Steps:

  • Mix salt, sugar, flour, and yeast mixture to make the dough. Knead it steadily until the dough is fluffy and stretchy. Let it rest for an hour.
  • Shape the dough by using a rolling pin and place it in the oven to pre-bake.
  • Slather the first layer of the dough with barbecue sauce. Then add grated cheese on the top following fried sausages and bell peppers. At last, shred some more cheese on the top.
  • Put it in the oven for 20-25 minutes and your Domino's pan pizza will be ready.

However, original Domino's pizza crust is still the same. This Domino's pizza dough recipe aims to capture that unique chewiness that we all recognize and love. Use an electric mixer to speed things up, or just combine by hand for a good workout. Like many other pizza doughs, this one can be refrigerated and frozen for later use. 5 cups all-purpose flour or 5 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon instant yeast
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 3/4 cups warm water

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring vigorously. Set aside to rest five minutes, and then stir again for three to five minutes.
  • Add additional water or flour to achieve a smooth, sticky dough.
  • Divide into four pieces and place each one into an oiled freezer bag.
  • At this point, dough can be refrigerated or frozen.
  • Allow to rise at room temperature and then punch down.
  • Stretch each piece onto a ten inch pizza pan and allow to rest a few minutes.
  • Top as usual, and then bake at 450°F until crust is crisp and cheese has melted.
  • (Makes 4 ten inch pizzas.).
