DELICIOUS CHILI CHEESE DIP



Delicious Chili Cheese Dip image

This recipe is great for parties or the Superbowl! You can transfer it to a crock pot to keep warm. It also freezes well. Serve with tortilla chips or ruffle potato chips.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb lean ground beef
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
1 (15 ounce) can hormel no-bean chili
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa (mild, medium or hot depending on your preference)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cheddar cheese (shredded)

Steps:

  • In a saute pan, brown ground beef.
  • Add taco seasoning packet and stir until blended.
  • Add chili and stir until blended.
  • Add salsa and stir until blended.
  • Cut cream cheese into several cubes (about 8) and add to the pan. Mix through until cream cheese is melted.
  • Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  • Enjoy!

This is an old time recipe that you probably all know about, but is worth repeating. It is perfect for the big game, and everyone loves it.

1 (8 oz) bar of cream cheese
1 can(s) (15 oz) chili, with or without beans
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. In a shallow baking dish, (I use a pie plate), spread cream on bottom of dish.
  • 3. Cover cream cheese with chili, and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips.

1 lb Velveeta cheese (Mild Mexican if you want it spicier)
1 lb ground beef

Steps:

  • In large pan brown ground beef and drain.
  • Add chili and cubed Velveeta.
  • Stir occasionally until cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.
