DEEP FRIED OREOS
Deep Fried Oreos are the ultimate indulgence...AND they're super easy to make at home!

Steps:
- Fill a deep skillet or Dutch Oven 2 - 3 inches deep with vegetable oil. Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
- While the oil is heating, whisk the Bisquick, milk, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, and egg together.
- Line a large plate with paper towels and set aside.
- Working in batches of 3, drop each Oreo into the batter, and using a fork, remove the Oreo from the batter, tapping off excess, and place directly into the hot oil.
- Fry the Oreos 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried Oreos from the oil and transfer to lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- When the Oreos have cooled, and are no longer hot, dust with powdered sugar.
DEEP FRIED OREOS
I had these at a local county fair and just had to try to make them. They are delicious.You can substitute your favorite dry pancake mix for the Bisquick. They are best when eaten warm. If you are want to try a lighter version, use lowfat milk, canola oil, and reduced fat Oreos.

Steps:
- Blend Bisquick, eggs, milk, and 3 tsp oil until smooth.
- Preheat your deep fryer to about 375°F (use a thermometer if you wish to deep fry in a pan).
- Dip the cookies in the batter mixture until totally covered and then place in the hot oil (cookies will float).
- Keep checking and turn over the cookie when bottom side of Oreo is brown.
- Keep a close watch because it only takes a short time to brown.
- Remove cookies and eat warm.

- On each of eighteen 4-in. wooden skewers, thread one cookie, inserting pointed end of skewer into filling. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour. , In a deep cast-iron skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°. Place biscuit mix in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, combine egg and milk; whisk into biscuit mix just until moistened., Holding skewer, dip cookie into biscuit mixture to coat both sides; shake off excess., Fry cookies, a few at a time, until golden brown, 1-2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.

STATE FAIR FRIED OREO COOKIES
I caught the tail in of food network talking about fried oreo cookies being served at the fair so I went on line and found the recipe. I have not tried it yet but if you do let me know how you like it. I am going to try it when my grandson comes to visit me during spring break. As for the size of bag of cookie all it says was a large bag I did not know the correct size so I guessed

- combine pancake mix,milk,eggs, and oil.
- mix until there is no lumps.
- dip oreos into batter and coat both sides.
- put in fryer and fry until golden. The cookies will cook fast so watch closely and turn them. Remove from grease and sprinkle with confectioner sugar if you want to. The directions say they are best eaten hot.
