1 box whole wheat elbow pasta
1/2 cup shredded Gouda cheese
1 cup Greek Yogurt
-1/2 cup Cream Cheese
5 Tablespoons Butter ( plus some to saute the shrimp)
1 libra. Shrimp
1 package bacon
2 cups 6 cheese Italian Blend shredded
1/2 cup Monterrey Jack Cheese shredded
1/2 cup crumbled Feta
3/4 cup Swiss cheese shredded
3/4 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2-3/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
Large baking dish.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. While preparing the shrimp and bacon, cook the pasta and drain. Make sure you cook the pasta, with mac-n-cheese you do not want al-dente because the pasta will continue to absorb later and will make your mac-n-cheese dry.
  • Peel and rinse shrimp. Drain well. With 2-3 tablespoons of butter, saute in pan over med-high heat until for 5-7 minutes35 or until cooked. Be careful not to overcook- they can become tough. When done drain from butter and cut into small pieces.
  • In another skillet (or on a sheet pan in the oven) cook bacon until slightly crispy. Don't overcook. Cut or break into similar size pieces as the shrimp.
  • Grease the bottom of the baking dish with a good amount of butter. Drain the pasta and return the pot to low heat.
  • Combine the cheeses and pasta starting with the butter, cream cheese and Greek yogurt. When they are well combined add the additional cheeses, stirring well. Add 1/2 cup of milk and let cheeses melt and combine.
  • Add 1/2 cup of the pasta water (the water has the starch in it which will help bind the dish). Make sure to keep an eye that the mixture does not look dry. You want it to be wet, but not over saturated, it will cook off a bit in the oven. Add shrimp and bacon. Stir well and add more milk or pasta water if needed. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and cover with small bits of butter, Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. For the last 3 turn the broiler to low to brown and crisp the top of the dish.

1/4 cup unsalted butter, plus more for greasing the dish
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 pound elbow macaroni
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream, plus more if needed
4 ounces cream cheese
One 16-ounce block sharp Cheddar, shredded
1 1/2 cups extra-sharp Cheddar, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9- by 13-inch baking dish with butter.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the macaroni and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 7 minutes. Strain in a colander, run cold water over the pasta and set aside.
  • Using the same pot the macaroni was cooked in, melt the 1/4 cup butter over medium heat, add the flour and whisk until smooth. While whisking constantly, slowly add the milk and then the cream. Bring to a simmer, add the cream cheese and the shredded Cheddar except for 1/2 cup and stir until melted. Stir in the granulated garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Remove the cheese sauce from the heat and stir in the macaroni. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Whisk together the eggs and sour cream in a small bowl and then fold into the macaroni and cheese. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, fold in the cubed Cheddar and top with the reserved 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar. Bake until the top just begins to brown, about 20 minutes. Loosely cover with foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.

1 cup frozen salad shrimp
2 tablespoons panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Pour 5 cups water into a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Add macaroni and boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until a smooth paste is formed. Slowly pour in milk, stirring to incorporate. Add 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Cajun seasoning. Drain macaroni and stir into the sauce. Add frozen shrimp and stir to combine.

½ cup heavy whipping cream

Delicious combination of flavors. My madre-in-law made this at a party. I made this a romantic meal for the hubby since it can also go well with beer or wine beverages. It is super simple gourmet!

2 lbs raw shrimp, headless, peeled, and deveined
1 lb bacon, cut in 1 in. pieces
1/2 lb monterey jack cheese, grated
2 tablespoons margarine
garlic powder
ground black pepper
30 very thin corn tortillas (or thin as you can get)

Steps:

  • Fry bacon on med-hi until crispy (when grease is foaming) because they will rehydrate when other ingredients are added. Trust me, you don't want rawlike bacon in your dish!
  • Drain grease from pan, leave a little for cooking.
  • Add margarine, melt.
  • Add shrimp, sprinkle garlic powder and dash of black pepper. Stir constantly because shrimp cooks fast. Just when all shrimp turn pink, turn off heat so they do not overcook.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Cook corn tortillas on range (when tortilla starts to bubble, it's ready.) If you have an electric stove, you can cook the tortillas on a skillet or nonstick pan.
  • Scoop shrimps into tortillas and enjoy! This goes well with pinto beans that you can re-fry with the bacon grease you just separated.
