What's better then chocolate? This only proves that you can never have enough chocolate. What makes this even better that it's so easy to do!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 box cake mix, chocolate fudge (make sure you have eggs and oil as the box call for.)
1 bottle of coke.
8 oz of good baking chocolate
1 c cream
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temp.
4 stick unsalted butter, room temp.
9 c confectioners' sugar
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 c milk
2 1/2 c cocoa powder
1/4 c of shaved chocolate (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. For the cupcakes:
  • 2. Pick a box of chocolate cake mix, which ever flavor or brand you like. Add in the eggs and oil as recommended BUT use the coke in EXCHANGE for the WATER.
  • 3. Put about 2 tablespoons of batter in each cup cake paper. Cook until done and let cool.
  • 4. While cupcakes are cooling, in a microwave bowl break up the chocolate and place in microwave. Cooking ONE minute at a time and stirring until evenly melted.
  • 5. For the Ganache:
  • 6. In a microwave bowl cook the cream until very hot about two to three minutes.
  • 7. Pour the cream over the melted chocolate and stir until well incorporated. Add in the butter one table spoon at a time and mix until well incorporated.
  • 8. Cover ganache mixture and place in fridge to cool, stirring every five minutes.
  • 9. Once no longer runny and slightly thickened, take the ganache and place into a piping bag with a thin writing tip. Then poke and fill each cup cake until some start to come out. -Or- Cut a small circle out and put some of the ganache into the hole. Then remove some of the cut cake top and replace.
  • 10. For the frosting:
  • 11. Cream the butter, add in vanilla and rotate the con sugar and cocoa powder. Adding in milk until you get the texture you desire.
  • 12. Then frost your cupcakes and top with cocoa powder and shavings.

1 pkg regular size Oreos, family-size package (you'll need 48 cookies)
1 pkg mini Oreos, for decoration
1 pkg chocolate cake mix/ mix according to directions on box
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
8 Tbsp butter, room temperature
3 3/4 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
cupcake liners

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix packaged cake mix according to directions. (Do not bake.)
  • 2. Line cupcake tins with liner. Place a regular size Oreo cookie in the bottom of each one.
  • 3. Take 12 Oreos and chop coarsely. Add to the cake mix.
  • 4. Fill the cupcake tins. They will seem overfilled because of the Oreos. They are typically filled all the way to the top of the liner; it bakes a very full cupcakes.
  • 5. Bake for 20 min (or according to box directions).
  • 6. Allow cupcakes to cool and prepare the frosting.
  • 7. Cream together butter and cream cheese.
  • 8. Add vanilla.
  • 9. Add powdered sugar, slowly, blending as you go.
  • 10. Mix until creamy.
  • 11. Chop remaining regular-sized Oreos very fine (using the food processor is best).
  • 12. Mix finely chopped cookies into the frosting.
  • 13. After cupcakes are cool, put frosting on. Either spread or pipe it on.
  • 14. Add a mini Oreo on top for decoration.

18 ounces Oreo cookies, regular size
8 ounces miniature Oreo cookies, for decoration
18 1/4 ounces chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
8 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
cupcake liners

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Mix cake mix according to directions with the eggs, milk (instead of water) and oil. Set bowl of batter aside.
  • Line cupcake tins with liner, place a regular size oreo cookie in the bottom of each one.
  • Take 1/2 of remaining cookies and chop coarsely and add to cake batter. Fill the cupcake tins. Bake for 15 min (or according to box directions for cupcakes). While cupcakes are baking make the frosting.
  • Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla, then add powdered sugar slowly until blended well.
  • Chop remaining regular-sized Oreos very fine. Stir into frosting.
  • After cupcakes are cool, frost them and decorate with a few mini oreos on top.

  • Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 of the way full with batter. Bake for 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
