CROCKPOT POTATO AND SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• Cook onion, butter, garlic, celery and sausage in a frying pan until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
• Add all ingredients, except tomatoes and cornstarch, to the crockpot. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 8 hours on low or until potatoes are tender.
• Stir in tomatoes with juices and cornstarch and cook 10 minutes more.
• Discard bay leaf and season with salt & pepper to taste. Serve with sour cream if desired.

CROCK POT SAUSAGE POTATO SOUP RECIPE

Steps:

• Brown the ground sausage and drain any remaining fat.
• Add to the slow cooker. I used a 6 quart slow cooker.
• Place in the minced garlic, onion, potato, salt, pepper, and broth.
• Stir to combine.
• Cook on low for 5-6 hours on low.
• 30 minutes before eating stir in the whipping cream.
• Cover the crock pot and cook on high for 30 minutes.
• Stir and serve.

CROCK POT SAUSAGE POTATO SOUP

Steps:

• Put everything in your crock pot EXCEPT your milk and cheese
• Gently mix it up
• Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 3-4 hours
• When you have an hour left, stir in your milk
• Serve with cheese sprinkled on top, if desired

POTATO AND SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Cook and stir Italian and kielbasa sausages in the hot skillet until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain grease.
• Stir potatoes, water, chicken broth, heavy cream, celery, bouillon, garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper into the pot. Reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender, about 1 1/2 hours.

CROCK POT SAUSAGE AND POTATO SOUP

Steps:

• Place all ingredients, except cumin, in a crock pot and stir to combine.
• Cook on Low 8 hours or High 4 hours.
• Stir in cumin just before serving.

CROCK POT POTATO AND SMOKED SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• Pour chicken broth in crock pot.
• Add can of mushroom soup and mix well with broth.
• Peel and dice potatoes, add to crock pot.
• Dice onion and saute in skillet with butter until soft.
• Slice smoked sausage and then quarter.
• Add to onion.
• Cook until smoked sausage is hot.
• Add to crock pot.
• Cook on high for 4 hours.
• Before serving, lower heat and add milk and cheese. Stir in cheese until melted.
• Mix cornstarch with a small amount of water. Mix until smooth. Add to soup to help thicken.
