SOUR CREAM AND BACON CROCKPOT CHICKEN

Steps:

• Cook bacon over medium low heat until some of the fat is rendered. Bacon should still be pliable and not crisp.
• Wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken breast and place in crockpot.
• Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
• In a medium bowl, mix soup, sour cream and flour with a wire wisk until blended.
• Pour over chicken.
• Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
• Remove chicken and stir sauce.
• Pour sauce over chicken.

Steps:

• Spray crock pot insert with nonstick cooking spray (regular and casserole crock pot). Line bottom of the insert with dried beef.
• Wrap each chicken breast with 1 - 2 slices bacon. Arrange on top of dried beef.
• In a small bowl, mix sour cream and flour until smooth; stir in cream of mushroom soup.
• Pour over chicken breasts.
• Cover and cook on high for 3 - 4 hours or low for 6 - 8 hours or until chicken is cooked through. Internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
• Serve over buttered noodles or cooked rice.

If you use this method, reduce the flour to 1/4 cup. Or don't cook the bacon and proceed with the recipe. Wrap one slice of bacon around each boneless chicken breast and place in a 4 to 5 quart crockpot. In medium bowl, combine condensed soups, sour cream, and flour and mix with wire whisk to blend. • Add chicken.
• Cook all day on low or cook on high for 4 hrs.
• Add potatoes and cook for 1 hour. If you cook all day, warm potatoes in a pan before you put them in soup mixture.

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN IN SOUR CREAM SAUCE (CROCK POT)

Steps:

• Combine the first four ingredients and rub over chicken.
• Place chicken in crock pot.
• Combine the soup, sour cream, broth and mushrooms.
• Pour over chicken.
• Cover and cook on low for 4-8 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 170°.
• Thicken the sauce if desired.
