Sausage balls with a cream cheese twist!

Ingredients

1 pound ground pork sausage, regular or hot
2 cups finely shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese blend
1 ¼ cups self-rising flour
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix together ground sausage, shredded cheese, flour, and cream cheese in a large bowl until well combined. Form into walnut-sized balls, either with your hands or with a cookie scoop, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until the sausage balls are browned and no longer pink inside, about 20 minutes.

1 lb country sausage (Neese's hot or regular)
8 ounces cream cheese
1 1/4 cups Bisquick
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

Mix all ingredients well. A dough hook on a Kitchen Aid mixer works well or you can use your hands.
Roll into 1" balls.
Bake @ 400° for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 ¼ cups baking mix (such as Bisquick ®)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Blend sausage, baking mix, cream cheese, and Cheddar cheese together using the dough hook attachment of an electric stand mixer on very low speed until well combined, 2 to 3 minutes.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a rimmed baking stone.
Bake in the preheated oven until browned and no longer pink in the centers, 22 to 25 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F and have ready a rimmed baking sheet lined with nonstick aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to a medium-sized mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
Add the room temperature cream cheese, pork sausage, and Cheddar to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and mix on medium speed just until combined. If you do not have a stand mixer, use a large bowl and a handheld mixer. Add the dry ingredients and mix on low until it is evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese/pork mixture.
Scoop out generous tablespoon-sized mounds of the mixture and roll into balls. It should be about the size of a golf ball. Place on the baking sheet, about 1" apart from one another.
