Sweet, slightly fruity, and tropical this is a refreshing frozen adult beverage. It's a little on the strong side so add the lemon-lime soda topper to suit your taste. This is perfect for summer BBQs or sipping poolside - a definite crowd-pleaser. The best part... no blender is required. An easy frozen cocktail!

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

1 c apricot brandy
1 c vodka
1 can(s) pineapple juice, 46 oz.
1 can(s) can frozen pink lemonade, 6 oz.
1 can(s) frozen orange juice, 6 oz.
Sprite, 7-up or any lemon-lime soda

Steps:

1. I double this recipe, always. Gather the ingredients.
2. Simply put all ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together. No need to thaw frozen juices as the alcohol and pineapple juice will thaw them as you whisk. Put into airtight container (allow 1 inch of air space) and freeze overnight.
3. To serve: Place two ice cream scoops of icy yummy slush into a stemmed goblet or any pretty glass and top with a splash or more of your favorite lemon-lime type soda for ease of sipping immediately (ie: Sprite, 7-up.)
4. Add a straw and decorate with an orange slice and a cherry over the edge of the glass.

FROZEN SLUSH

In Hobson, Montana, Darlene White mixes up this sweet fruity slush using juices, berries and soft drink mix. Then she stores it in the freezer for unexpected company. Simply pour a little citrus soda over scoops of the colorful mixture for frosty and refreshing beverages.

Number Of Ingredients 9

Ingredients

1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice
8 cups water
1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
4 cups sugar
2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
2 envelopes unsweetened cherry soft drink mix or other red flavor of your choice
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENT:
Grapefruit or citrus soda

Steps:

In a 6-qt. container, combine the first seven ingredients. Cover and freeze for 12 hours, stirring every 2 hours. May be frozen for up to 3 months. , For each serving: Place 1/2 cup fruit slush in a glass. Add 1/2 cup soda.

12 ounces frozen lemonade

1 liter 7-up

Steps:

Mix all ingredients (except 7-up) in a large pail (I use an ice cream bucket).
Freeze until slushy (overnight).
Add 1-2 scoops of slush to a glass. Pour 7-up in to fill up.
Keep frozen.

Ingredients

3 cans (6 ounces each) unsweetened pineapple juice
2 cups water
1 can (10 ounces) frozen nonalcoholic pina colada mix
1 tablespoon lime juice
3-1/2 teaspoons Crystal Light lemonade drink mix
6 cups lemon-lime soda, chilled

Steps:

In a large bowl, combine pineapple juice, water, pina colada mix, lime juice and lemonade mix; stir until drink mix is dissolved. Transfer to a 2-qt. freezer container. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. , Remove from freezer 45 minutes before serving. For each serving, combine 1/2 cup slush mixture with 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda.
