CLASSIC GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH
Nothing is more comforting than a hot, melty grilled cheese sandwich. Serve this lunch time favorite with a bowl of tomato soup for dipping!

Steps:
- Preheat a small skillet over low heat.
- Spread mayonnaise over one side of each piece of bread and place mayonnaise side down in the skillet.
- Top with cheddar cheese slices, black pepper to taste and remaining slice of bread, mayonnaise side out.
- Grill until golden, about 4-5 minutes. Flip and grill the other side until golden.
- Optional: Just before serving, add the shredded cheddar directly to the outside of the sandwich and grill an additional minute or so until it gets crispy.

Steps:
- Preheat a griddle or nonstick skillet to medium-low. Spread 2 teaspoons of the butter on one side of a bread slice. Repeat with the remaining butter and bread. Place one of the slices butter-side down and shingle the cheese on top, covering the entire surface. Top with the other slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Place the sandwich on the griddle and cook until the bottom is golden brown and crisp, 3 to 4 minutes. If the bread is browning too quickly, shift the griddle off the heat. Flip the sandwich, then cover with a small metal bowl and cook until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is melted, 3 to 4 minutes. Once golden brown on both sides, toast the edges of the sandwich, if desired. Transfer to a cutting board, cut in half on the bias and serve immediately.
GRILLED CHEESE RECIPE BY TASTY

- On a cutting board, butter each piece of bread with butter on one side.
- Flip the bread over and spread each piece of bread with mayonnaise.
- Place the cheese on the buttered side of one piece of bread. Top it with the second piece of bread, mayonnaise side out.
- Heat a nonstick pan over medium low heat.
- Place the sandwich on the pan, mayonnaise side down.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
- Using a spatula, flip the sandwich over and continue cooking until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- In small bowl, combine butter, garlic and crushed red pepper. Stir to blend and set aside.
- In separate bowl, whisk egg and milk and set aside.
- Spread Parmesan cheese evenly on large plate and set aside.
- In large skillet, melt half of the butter mixture over low heat.
- Working quickly, dip 1 of the bread slices in egg mixture, coating only 1 side. Dip coated side into Parmesan cheese. Place in skillet, cheese side down. Repeat with 3 remaining bread slices.
- Arrange turkey, avocado and tomato on top of bread slices. Sprinkle with cilantro and top with onion rings and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Dip remaining 4 bread slices in egg mixture, coating 1 side and dip coated side into Parmesan and place on top of sandwich, cheese side out.
- Increase heat to medium and cook until bottom is golden brown.
- Add remaining butter, turn sandwiches to cook and brown the other side.

- Spread both sides of bread slices with butter. In a large skillet, toast bread on 1 side, over medium heat until golden brown, 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat; place toasted-side up. Spread cheese over toasted bread slices. Top 2 slices with jelly, then with bacon. Top with remaining bread slices, cheese facing inward. Cook until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted, 3-4 minutes on each side. If desired, serve with additional jelly.
