- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, using a mixer, beat butter and sugars until pale and fluffy, 4 minutes. Add vanilla and eggs and beat until combined. Add flour mixture and beat until just combined. Mix in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop dough in 2-tablespoon-size balls on parchment-lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake until cookies are golden around the edges but still soft in the center, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool on sheets 1 to 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks and let cool completely.

I haven't missed a year making this candy for the holidays since a friend gave me the recipe in 1964! It is made like a pan of upside-down bars and tastes like my favorite caramel pecan candies. - Line a 13x9-in. pan with foil; butter the foil with 1 tablespoon butter. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips; set aside. , In a heavy saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until a candy thermometer reads 248° (firm-ball stage)., Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into prepared pan (do not scrape saucepan). Cool completely before cutting.

- 1. In a bowl stir cereal and pecans.Mix well. Place peanut butter and chocolate morcels in a small bowl to microwave. Heat on high for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking. After cooking, stir morcels until smooth.Pour over cerael and pecans. Mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Chill until set, approximately 15 minutes. Store at room tempature.

- Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour; mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour or until dough is easy to handle.
- Heat oven to 350°F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 8 min. or just until set. (Do not overbake.) Cool on baking sheet 1 min.; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

BONNIE'S ACCIDENTAL CHOCOLATE PECAN DROP COOKIES
I am always looking for good tasting lowfat cookie recipes, but certainly didn't expect this surprise. We accidentally left out a few ingredients in my regular cookie recipe. The result was a great tasting, chewy, lowfat, healthy, low sugar cookie. Perfect for dunking! I hope you like it! Enjoy!

- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour wheat germ, sugar, pecans, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine applesauce, egg white, and vanilla. Mix well. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix just with a fork until blended.
