Steps:
- Stir all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 3 hours. Do not lift lid or stir.
- After 3 hours, stir well for 3-5 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper to cool. Or, spread on wax paper and cut into squares when cool.
- Store in an airtight container until you are ready to box as gifts.

CHOCOLATE COVERED PEANUTS- CROCK POT CANDY
A friend gave me this recipe years ago. I make it every Christmas. It freezes very well. I found a similar one but this one had two additional ingredients.

Steps:
- Cut chocolate into smaller pieces and add all ingredients including peanuts to crock pot. Turn on low and cook one hour with lid on. Do Not Stir. Turn off heat, remove lid, stir every 15 minutes for two hours. Drop with a melon baller onto wax or parchment paper. Let set until hardens. Store in covered container. Will freeze well in sealed bags. Makes over 100 pieces.
SLOW COOKER CHOCOLATE CANDY

- Put the peanuts in the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker. Layer the chocolate over the peanuts, beginning with the sweet chocolate, followed by the chocolate chips and then the almond bark. Set the temperature on low and cook for 3 hours. Do not stir the mixture. After 3 hours, stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until smooth. Drop the candy into cupcake pan liners using about 2 tablespoons per liner. Allow the candy to cool completely before removing the cupcake liners.

- Combine white chocolate, peanuts, chocolate chips, and German chocolate in a slow cooker.
- Cook on High for 1 hour, without stirring. Reduce heat to Low, stir, and cook for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls of chocolate-peanut mixture onto waxed paper and let cool and harden, 30 to 45 minutes.

this is the best recipe i have found for chocolate covered peanuts. you can use other nuts in place of peanuts, or with them. i made this for my friends and family for the holiday and everyone wanted the recipe. it is so easy to make. REMEMBER , it does have to be made in a large crock pot.

- put all ingredients into a 4 - 5 quart crock-pot in the order listed. cover and cook for 3 hours on low (do not open) turn off and cool for 30 minutes. mix well until all chocolate is dissolved and then pour onto buttered cookie sheets or drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. cool. if you pour onto cookie sheets use a spatula to lift and then break into pieces.

- In a 5 qt or larger slow cooker, add the white melting chocolate, sweet baking chocolate, and semi sweet chocolate chips. Put the lid on and set to LOW for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally (you will want to check it to make sure it is not burning).
- Add all of the nuts to the crock pot and stir them in well. Put the lid on and switch to Warm, or turn off the slow cooker (but leave the crock in the housing to stay warm).
