1 box (6-serving size) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 cups milk
3 oz cream cheese (from 8-oz package), softened
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
16 double-stuffed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (about 2 cups)
3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Steps:

In medium bowl, beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 minutes. Cover; refrigerate 5 minutes.
In small bowl, stir together cream cheese and whipped topping until well blended.
In 2-quart serving bowl, place 1 cup crushed cookies. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over crushed cookies; sprinkle with half of the pecans. Spread pudding evenly over top; spread remaining cream cheese mixture evenly over pudding. Sprinkle with remaining cookies and pecans. Refrigerate 1 hour or until serving time.

¾ cup shortening (such as Crisco®)
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine shortening, sugars, milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Beat in eggs. Whip mixture until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl. Pour over the shortening mixture and beat until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 3 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven, 1 cookie sheet at a time, until edges are set, 11 to 15 minutes. Repeat with remaining cookie sheets. Cool each batch for 5 minutes before moving cookies onto a cooling rack.

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
Mix the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and the chopped nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes.

Everybody wants this recipe when I take them in for a carry-in. To make them award winning, my daughter, Tegan, made them for a cookie baking contest and won a red ribbon! You can use any flavor pudding you like for this recipe.

4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
