TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BUNDLES



Triple Chocolate Bundles image

No one will be able to resist three kinds of chocolate wrapped up in a fuss-free flaky dough. Instead of sprinkling the bundles with sugar, try drizzling with melted chocolate.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons vanilla or white chips
3 tablespoons milk chocolate chips
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
Confectioners' sugar, optional

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first three ingredients. Separate crescent dough into eight triangles. Place triangles on a work surface with the short edge toward you. , For each bundle, place 1 tablespoon of chips in the center of each triangle. Bring top point over chips and tuck underneath dough. Fold side points over top, pressing to seal., Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack until serving. Sprinkle with sugar if desired.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate pieces(about 1 cup)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 of a 17.3 ounce package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets(1 sheet), thawed
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 400°F. Stir the chocolate pieces and walnuts in a small bowl.
  • Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll the pastry into a 12-inch square. Cut the pastry into 9 (4-inch) squares. Place about 2 tablespoons chocolate mixture in the center of each square. Brush the edges of the squares with water. Bring the corners of each square to the center on top of the filling. Twist tightly to seal, fanning out the corners. Place the pastries 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the pastries for 15 minutes or until they're golden brown. Remove the pastries from the baking sheet and cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the pastries with confectioners' sugar.
  • Alternate Preparation: For large bundles, cut the pastry into 4 (6-inch) squares and place about 1/3 cup chocolate mixture in center of each square. Proceed as directed. Makes 4 servings.

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 medium ripe bananas, halved lengthwise
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
Vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until blended. Add bananas; stir to coat. Remove from heat; set aside., Unfold puff pastry; cut into 4 rectangles. Place a halved banana in center of each square. Overlap 2 opposite corners of pastry over banana; pinch tightly to seal. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets. , Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Drizzle with chocolate. Serve warm, with ice cream if desired.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 sheet pepperidge farm frozen puff pastry
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Thaw pastry 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • On a floured surface, roll pastry to a 12-inch square, cut into four 6-inch squares.
  • Place 1/4 cup chips and 1 tbsp walnuts in the center of each square.
  • Bring pastry corners together, just above the filling twist and turn.
  • Fan out corners.
  • Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet 10- 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let stand 10 minutes, sprinkle with sugar and serve.

Alot like my Chocolate Ravioli only easier! This is an awesome dessert... reminds me of a different version molten aka lava cake only using pastry sheets. The chocolate spills out with the first cut or bite.

1 frozen puff pastry sheet
1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate pieces
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 minute Preheat oven to 400°F Mix chocolate pieces and walnuts.
  • UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 12" square. Cut into 9 (4") squares. Place about 2 tablespoons chocolate mixture in center of each square. Brush edges of squares with water. Fold corners to center on top of filling and twist tightly to seal. Fan out corners. Place 2" apart on baking sheet.
  • BAKE 15 minute or until golden. Remove from baking sheet. Cool on wire rack 10 minute Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes 9 bundles.
