Chicken Sour Cream Bake Recipes

SOUR CREAM CHICKEN

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. In a shallow bowl, combine first seven ingredients. Place bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl. Coat chicken with sour cream mixture, then coat with bread crumbs., Arrange chicken on a rack in a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes. Drizzle with butter; bake 15-20 minutes or until juices run clear.

CHICKEN IN SOUR CREAM

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
• Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken on both sides and transfer to prepared baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
• Combine mushroom soup, onion soup mix, sour cream, lemon juice, and dill weed. Pour over chicken.
• Bake in preheated oven for one hour, or until chicken pieces are done and sauce is browned. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

BAKED SOUR CREAM CHICKEN

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
• Pound chicken flat until about 1/2" thick.
• Place chicken into a greased 11"x7" baking dish.
• Spread the sour cream over the chicken.
• In a small mixing bowl, add the breadcrumbs, herbs, salt, and pepper, then mix until combined.
• Sprinkle crumb mixture over the chicken.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until cooked through.

EASY CREAMY CHICKEN CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Mix the crackers and melted butter together in a bowl; set aside.
• Bring water and chicken stock to a boil in a pot over high heat. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the chicken. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink in the center, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain the chicken; set aside. Whisk together the sour cream and cream of chicken soup in a large bowl. Stir in the chicken, then transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the cracker mixture on top.
• Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, 25 to 30 minutes.

SOUR CREAM CHICKEN BAKE

Steps:

• Cook chicken to your liking (I usually just boil) and cool.
• Separate or cut chicken into bite size pieces, layering them in an ungreased 8X10 or medium casserole dish.
• Salt light lightly if desired.
• Combine sour cream and undiluted soup in a small bowl, and spread over chicken.
• In a separate bowl microwave or otherwise melt butter and crush crackers into it, stirring to coat.
• Layer buttered crumbs on top of sour cream/soup mixture.
• Bake at 350°F for one hour or till bubbly.
• If you like you may broil the top till more browned, but watch carefully!
• Serve hot and enjoy!

SOUR CREAM BAKED CHICKEN

Steps:

• Pound chicken to a uniform 1/2-inch thickness. Place in an ovenproof 10-inch round dish, sprayed with vegetable oil. Spoon sour cream over chicken. In a small dish mix crumbs (or cereal) with herbs, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle crumb mixture over sour cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until thoroughly cooked.

EASY CREAMY SOUR CREAM CHICKEN CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Boil chicken breast until tender; drain and cube.
• Spread evenly over the bottom of a square casserole dish.
• Salt and pepper to taste.
• Mix sour cream and chicken soup in a separate bowl.
• Spread the sour cream and soup mixture over the chicken in the casserole dish.
• Crush the Ritz crackers and spread over top of the casserole.
• Spoon melted butter on top over all.
• Bake in a 350°F oven until top is golden brown, approximately 20-30 minutes.
