Chicken Alfredo Gnocchi Bake is the perfect comfort food and comes together easily with homemade gnocchi. Creamy and full of flavor this is a great made from scratch family dish that everyone will love!

1 package Delallo Gnocchi Kit
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
16 ounces chicken breast tenderloins (cut into 1 inch cubes)
Salt
Black pepper
½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
¼ cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded romano cheese (divided)
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 10 ounce package frozen broccoli
¾ cup Italian Style Panko Breadcrumbs
Fresh basil (chopped, for serving.)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Prepear gnocchi according to gnocchi kit directions. Here is a good link with all the tips.
  • Add olive oil and garlic to a large, oven safe skillet. Heat over medium high heat.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until garlic is fragrant and soft.
  • Add in the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring often, until chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • Using the same skillet, heat the butter over medium heat.
  • Use a wooden spoon to deglaze, scrape the bottom of the skillet.
  • Add cream and mix well.
  • Mix together the two cheeses, reserving ¾ cup of the mixture. Gradually add the cheese, all but the part you reserved, adding a little at a time and waiting until melted to add the next batch.
  • Stir in the cooked gnocchi, chicken, and frozen broccoli, stirring to completely coat in the sauce.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and then the breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and melty.
  • Serve immediately topped with fresh basil.
  • Enjoy!

1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
6 oz Cream Cheese
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Cup Milk
3/4 Cup Heavy Cream
8 oz Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
2 Egg Yolks
Salt and Pepper
16 oz Potato Gnocchi
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
2 Cups Chicken Breasts (Chopped)
6 oz Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup Green Onions
6 oz Fontina Cheese
6 oz Mozzarella Cheese
1 Cup Bacon (Cooked & Chopped)
Dried Parsley Flakes

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cream cheese, garlic, milk and heavy cream. Whisk the ingredients until smooth. Bring the mixture to a simmer as you continue to whisk. Turn off heat, and whisk in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Add a tablespoon of the Alfredo to the beaten eggs and whisk vigorously. Now add the eggs to the saucepan whisking vigorously the entire time so that the eggs do not scramble. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a large baking dish with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  • Cook the gnocchi according to the directions on the package. Typically 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the Alfredo sauce, sour cream, ricotta cheese, chicken, Parmesan cheese, green onions, bacon and gnocchi. Fold the ingredients together until combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the fontina and mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until warmed through and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from heat. Sprinkle bacon, parsley and shaved Parmesan on top. Serve immediately and enjoy.

1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 - 15 ounce jar Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
freshly grated parmesan cheese, green onions, and extra bacon, optional garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick baking spray.
  • Cook the gnocchi according to the package directions. Drain.
  • Gently stir together the cooked gnocchi, broccoli, chicken, bacon, garlic, and Alfredo sauce.

8 ounces white mushrooms, sliced (about 4 cups)
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 rotisserie chicken, skin removed, meat shredded (about 2 cups)
1 17.5-ounce package potato gnocchi
1 1/2 cups loosely packed baby spinach
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (about 1 ounce)

Steps:

  • Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees F. Heat the olive oil in a deep ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and wipe out the skillet.
  • Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat; add the flour and cook, whisking, 3 minutes. Whisk in the milk and chicken broth until smooth; simmer, whisking constantly, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Whisk in 1/2 teaspoon salt and the nutmeg.

Steps:

2 pounds potato gnocchi
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1 tablespoon plus 1-1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Dash ground nutmeg
1/2 pound sliced baby portobello mushrooms
Minced fresh parsley, optional

Steps:

  • Cook gnocchi according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and nutmeg until blended. Keep warm., In a large heavy skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Heat 5-7 minutes or until golden brown, stirring constantly. Immediately add mushrooms and gnocchi; cook and stir 4-5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and gnocchi are lightly browned. Serve with sauce. If desired, sprinkle with parsley.
