CHARM CITY FIZZ

Steps:

• Dry shake all ingredients. Add ice and shake again. Strain into highball and add a splash of soda fizz.

CHARM CITY CORN

Steps:

• Bring 2 cups water, 1 cup milk and a pinch of salt to a boil in a pot. Cut 4 ears corn into thirds; add to the pot and cook until crisp-tender, 5 minutes, then drain. In the same pot, melt 4 tablespoons butter with 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning, a dash of green hot sauce and some salt. Toss the corn in the spicy butter.

EVERYTHING BAGEL GRILLED CORN

Steps:

• Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat.
• Grill the corn, turning occasionally, until browned in spots and the kernels are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
• Using a spatula or butter knife, spread some of cream cheese over each ear of corn, covering the kernels completely. Sprinkle all sides with about a tablespoon of the everything bagel seasoning.

LEMON-BASIL CORN

Steps:

• Bring 4 cups water, 1/2 cup basil leaves, 1/2 lemon, 3 tablespoons olive oil and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add 4 ears of corn; cook about 5 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup torn basil, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Drain the corn and toss with the flavored oil and a splash of the cooking water.

TEX-MEX CORN

Steps:

• Pull back the husks from 4 ears of corn and remove the silk; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon chili powder. Cover with the husks and grill, turning, about 20 minutes. Fold back the husks and spread with a mixture of 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon chili powder. Sprinkle with grated cheddar and crumbled bacon.

BACON-PEPPER CORN

Steps:

• Grill the corn: Remove the husks and brush the corn with vegetable oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat, turning, until lightly charred, 8 to 10 minutes.
• Make the topping: Finely chop 6 slices crisp cooked bacon. Toss 4 grilled ears of corn with 4 tablespoons softened butter to coat. Season generously with coarsely ground pepper and a pinch of salt. Press the bacon all over the corn.
