CANADIAN BACON PIZZA
Canadian bacon with pineapple and green pepper on French bread makes a quick and tasty pizza.

Steps:
- Cut bread in half lengthwise, then in half widthwise. Place cut side up in a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Brush with butter. Bake at 450° for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. , Spread marinara sauce over bread. Top with Canadian bacon, pineapple, green pepper, onions and cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut each piece in half.

- If using classic crust: Heat oven to 425°F. Spray or grease 12-inch pizza pan or 13x9-inch pan. Unroll dough in pan. Starting at center, press dough to edge of pan. If using thin crust: Heat oven to 400°F. Spray or grease 15x10-inch or larger dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Unroll dough on cookie sheet; starting at center, press out dough into 15x10-inch rectangle.
- Top dough with provolone cheese, cutting to fit. Arrange Canadian bacon, pineapple, onion and bell pepper over provolone cheese to within 1/2 inch of edges. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
- Bake classic crust 16 to 20 minutes, thin crust 10 to 14 minutes, or until crust is deep golden brown. Cut into 8 servings.

- For the pizza dough: Add 1 cup warm water to a Kitchen Aid mixer bowl. To the warm water, add 1 Tbsp. sugar and 1 package active dry yeast or 2 1/4 tsp. jarred active dry yeast. Let sit for 10-15 minutes until the yeast becomes frothy.
- Add 2 1/2 cups AP flour to the water and yeast mixture and mix with the hook attachment. Add 1 tsp. salt and 2 Tbsp. olive oil to the flour mixture. Mix with the hook attachment for 3-4 minutes. The dough should be firm. Let sit for 3-4 minutes.
- Once the dough is ready, sprinkle flour on a cleaned surface and on a rolling pin. Roll the dough into a rectangular shape and place on a sheet pan that has been sprinkled with corn meal (corn meal prevents sticking).
