Calico Burgers Recipes
CALICO BAKED BEANS WITH HAMBURGER AND BACON
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Brown the ground beef, bacon and onions and drain grease if desired.
- Add the ketchup, vinegar and brown sugar and simmer on low heat for 30 mins; stirring occasionally.
- Drain you beans and toss in a 9x13 inch pan or 4 quart casserole dish.
- Add the meat mixture on top of the beans and bake for 1.5 - 2 hours.

These are the best calico beans I've ever eaten. You can use pretty much any beans in any combination you like but the below combo is really great.

Steps:
- Chop and thoroughly cook bacon. Drain.
- Brown hamburger and onion together. Drain.
- Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
- Cook on high for 1 hour or on low for as long as you wish.

- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain., Transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Combine the brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar and mustard; add to meat mixture. Stir in the beans. Cover and cook on low until heated through, 4-5 hours.
