- In a small bowl, combine butter and soup mix; rub over corn. Place each ear of corn on a 12-in. x 10-in. piece of heavy-duty foil. Fold foil over corn and seal tightly. , Bake at 450° for 15-20 minutes or until corn is tender, turning packet once.

- Stir water, sugar, and salt together until the sugar and salt dissolves in a container large enough to hold the corn.
- Submerge corn in the brine; soak at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Remove corn from the brine, shake to remove excess liquid, and cook directly on an oven rack for 1 hour.

- Cut 4 pieces of foil large enough to hold a cob, place a cob on each piece, top each one with butter, then seal edges to form parcels. Bake, or cook on the barbecue, for 30-35 mins or until tender.

Wrap each with a piece of heavy-duty foil (about 14 in. square), sealing tightly., Grill corn, covered, over medium heat until tender, turning occasionally, 15-20 minutes. Deliciously moist corn baked in the oven and seasoned with garlic and herb butter. You can use just plain butter with salt and pepper if you prefer or any flavoured butter of your choice.

- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Remove all the husks and silks from the corn cobs.
- To make the Herb & Garlic Butter- mix all ingredients together is a small mixing bowl.
- Smear the flavoured butter over the corn cobs. Wrap the corn cobs in aluminium foil and secrely seal.
- Place the corn cobs on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- When cooked remove from the oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes before opening the foil to remove cooked corn. The corn will still be very hot-be careful not to burn yourself on the steam.
