Brownie Buddy Snack Mix Recipes

SNACK MIX BROWNIES

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper and spray again.
• Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions. Gently fold in 1 cup of the snack mix. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread to the edges. Sprinkle the top of the batter with the remaining 1 cup snack mix.
• Bake until the brownies are set, the surface is crackly and the snack mix is golden brown, 35 to 40 minutes. Let the brownies cool completely before slicing.

MUDDY BUDDIES® BROWNIE ICE CREAM CAKE

Steps:

• Reserve 1/2 cup snack mix from bag. Lightly spray bottom of 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray. In resealable food-storage plastic bag, place remaining snack mix; seal bag, and crush mix. Place in medium bowl. Stir in melted butter, and press in bottom of pan. Refrigerate 10 minutes.
• Gently spread ice cream over crust in pan. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with reserved snack mix. Cover loosely with foil. Freeze 2 to 4 hours or until firm.
• To serve, remove side of pan. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut with hot wet knife. Store leftovers loosely cover in freezer.

CHEX® MUDDY BUDDIES®

Steps:

• Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
• In 1-quart microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
• Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

DOUBLE BROWNIE MUDDY BUDDIES™ MIX

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make brownies as directed on box for 9-inch square pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
• Cut brownies into 1-inch pieces. Gently mix with remaining ingredients. Store tightly covered.

S'MORES MUDDY BUDDIES® BROWNIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make brownies as directed on box for 9-inch square pan. After removing pan from oven, set oven control to broil.
• Immediately sprinkle marshmallows and snack mix over warm brownies. Broil with top 4 to 5 inches from heat 30 to 60 seconds or until marshmallows are golden brown. (Watch carefully; marshmallows and snack mix will brown quickly.) Sprinkle with candy. Cool about 30 minutes. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store loosely covered.

BROWNIE BUDDY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Pour cereal squares into a large bowl.
• Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes. Pour over cereal squares and stir until well coated.
• Place brownie mix in a container with a tight fitting lid, or in a large zip-top bag. Add 1/2 of the coated cereal in 2 batches and shake to coat. Spread on a sheet of waxed or parchment paper. Discard any leftover brownie mix.
• Let cereal sit until cool and dry, 30 to 45 minutes.
• Transfer cereal to a large bowl. Add pretzels and chocolate-coated candies and toss to combine.
