THE BEST CRANBERRY CIDER RECIPE
Steps:
- Add water into a large 4 quart saucepan along with the fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Strain the cranberries, cinnamon sticks, and cloves from the mixture. Then mix in the sugar, orange juice, and apple juice (optional).
- Enjoy hot, or cool to room temperature and store it in a container in the fridge for later.

- 1. Remove two, 3-inch-long strips of peel from the orange and set aside until needed.
- 2. Next juice and strain the orange.
- 3. To a medium pot, add the orange, pineapple and cranberry juices, orange peel, cinnamon sticks, ginger, allspice and cloves.
- 4. Make sure to sample and add the sugar if desired.
- 5. Heat over medium-high heat until it starts to simmer, then reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer 30 - 45 minutes.
- 6. Strain the cider, pour into warm mugs, add orange slices and serve immediately
