BIT O' HONEY (COPYCAT RECIPE)
Bit O' Honey has always been one of my favorite candies. It's hard to find anymore so when I found this recipe, I was so excited. It is really good.

Steps:
- 1. Melt the honey, peanut butter and almond paste together in the microwave. Stir with a wooden spoon every 30 seconds until reaching the soft-crack stage of 270ºF. Best if you use a candy thermometer.
- 2. Let the mixture cool to 180ºF. Add 1 cup of dry powdered milk and mix well with a wooden spoon. Add the other cup of dry powdered milk and knead until well combined. Roll out on wax paper until candy mixture is approximately 1/2 inch thick.
- 3. Cut into strips (@ 3/4 inch wide and 2 inches long). Let sit to slightly harden and then wrap each piece in wax paper to store.

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 pan with shortening or spray with cooking oil. Melt margarine in a small sauce pan and remove from heat. Add the brown sugar and honey to the saucepan and stir until combined. Stir in egg and mix well. Combine flour and baking powder, then stir into the brown sugar mixture. Add vanilla and fold in almonds. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting.
BIT-O-HONEY COCKTAIL
I have been making this cocktail for years but be careful this will hit you when you least expect it. I am using oz. measurements but it is actually equal parts depending on whether you are serving over ice or as a shooter. This tastes just like the old Bit-O-Honey candy bar

BISCUIT: BIT O HEAVEN RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: all purpose flour, baking powder, kosher salt, unsalted butter, whole milk, Great Value® Organic Raw Honey, TBJ® Classic Uncured Bacon Jam, large eggs

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Using your hands or a pastry cutter, work the butter into the dry ingredients until the butter breaks down to pea-sized pieces.
- Add the milk and fold with a rubber spatula until fully incorporated and the dough comes together in a ball.
- Scoop the dough into 12 portions onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush each biscuit with honey.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Serve the biscuits with bacon jam and soft-boiled eggs.
