- Heat oven to 350, grease 9" round pie plate or square pan.
- Beat all ingredients, except nuts, until smooth for two minutes on high.
- Pour into pan and sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake 30-35 minutes.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375.
- 2. Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes or until all of the lumps are out.
- 3. Pour into a greased 8 inch pan.
- 4. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
BISQUICK BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES
Very easy and simple to prepare, if you have Bisquick baking mix around...these come out light and moist (Note: I have always used original Bisquick baking mix for this recipe, so I can't promise the same results with a Bisquick clone).

- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13" x 9" baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon.
- Pour into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until brownies test done.
- Cool on rack.
- Cut while warm.
- Note: 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips may be added to batter replacing the chopped nuts, making it butterscotch-chocolate chip brownies.

- Line baking dish with parchment paper. Carefully measure the sugar, butter/margarine, water, vanilla, Bisquick, and cocoa and add to a large bowl. Lightly whisk the eggs before adding to the bowl.
- Using a hand mixer, slowly blend all of the ingredients until smooth. Gently stir in any optional extras. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 18-25 minutes, checking after 18 minutes. Brownies are done when a toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs.
