3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 pint (2 cups) fresh blueberries
1 pint (2 cups) fresh raspberries
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
Ice cream or whipped cream, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In 2-quart saucepan, mash 2 cups of the strawberries; stir in cornstarch and granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Carefully stir in blueberries, raspberries and remaining strawberries. Pour berry mixture into ungreased 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish or 9-inch pie plate.
  • In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients except ice cream with pastry blender or fork until crumbly; sprinkle over berry mixture.
  • Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.

3 cups fresh raspberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In medium bowl, mix 3/4 cup flour, the oats, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon until blended. Cut in cold butter, using fork or pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly. (Do not overmix.) Set aside.
  • In large bowl, mix Filling ingredients until well coated. Spread evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle streusel over top.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is golden brown and juices are bubbling along edges.
  • Cool at least 20 minutes before serving.

1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup cold butter
Butter-flavor cooking spray
2 cups vanilla fat-free ice cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In medium bowl, toss blueberries, strawberries, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup flour, the nutmeg, vanilla and salt. Spoon into baking dish.
  • In separate medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup flour, the oats, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives though ingredients in opposite directions), until mixture looks like coarse meal. Sprinkle over berry mixture; spray topping with butter-flavor cooking spray.
  • Bake 40 minutes or until topping filling is bubbly and is golden. Serve warm with ice cream.
