Number Of Ingredients 12

1 beef flank steak (1 pound)
2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
1 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Hot cooked egg noodles, optional

Steps:

  • Broil beef 4-6 in. from the heat for 6-9 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Set aside and keep warm., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, bring broth to a boil. Add mushrooms and onion; cover and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk the flour, cornstarch and water until smooth. Whisk into broth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Remove from the heat., In another small bowl, combine the yogurt, paprika, mustard and garlic powder; stir into broth mixture until smooth. Cut beef diagonally into thin strips; add to broth mixture. Cook and stir over low heat until heated through. Serve with noodles if desired.

You won't believe that this Mushroom and Beef Skillet only takes about half an hour to make! I'll show you one of my favorite shortcuts for a creamy sauce without tons of work.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup onion (chopped)
1 10 1//2 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of water
8 ounce package of fresh mushrooms
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In a large skillet add olive oil and mushrooms. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Set mushrooms aside.
  • In the skillet cook beef, onion and garlic on medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain.
  • Add soup, water and mushrooms. Stir and cook until hot.
  • Top with Cheese. Cover and cook until cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley.

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 bag (19 oz) Value Size frozen roasted potatoes with garlic & herb sauce
1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics creamy mushroom soup
1 jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Oaxaca cheese (4 oz)
Chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked. Drain.
  • Add frozen potatoes. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until potatoes are tender. Add soup and mushrooms; cook and stir until mixture is hot.
  • Top with cheese. Cover; cook about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley.

1 jar (12 ounces) fat-free beef gravy
1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1/3 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon browning sauce
Hot cooked noodles or rice
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, cook the beef, mushrooms and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. , In a large bowl, combine the gravy, sour cream, yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, pepper and browning sauce. 1 cup water
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1 package (19 ounces) frozen cheese tortellini

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in steak seasoning. Add water and bouillon; bring to a boil. Made this up tonight with what I had in my pantry, because I didn't want to fight the lines at the grocery store. I wanted to add peas, but didn't have any. My picky, onion hating, boyfriend loved it! Serve with a green salad.

1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope Lipton beefy onion soup mix
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups cold water
2 tablespoons red wine
2 dashes maggi seasoning
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 lb lean ground beef
1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
2 cups egg noodles

Steps:

  • To make gravy:.
  • Combine Beefy Onion Soup, flour in a medium sauce pan. Set on high heat. Slowly stir in water. Add wine, Maggi Seasoning and pepper. Bring to a boil. Then, reduce heat to medium, stirring frequently. Stir 5-6 minutes or until gravy is thickened.
  • Cook noodles according to package directions and drain well.
  • Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain grease. Add mushrooms and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add gravy to beef, stir, then add noodles and mix well. Cook in skillet about 3-5 minutes.
