- Heat oven to 400°F. Generously grease 8x4-inch loaf pan (do not use dark-coated pan). In small shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
- Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Dip each quarter into melted butter; roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Arrange in greased loaf pan.
- Bake 19 to 25 minutes or until deep golden brown and center is baked through. Cool 2 minutes. Loosen edges; remove from pan. Place on serving plate. Serve warm.

- 1. Mix flour , salt and sugar. Make a well in center . Add buttermilk and oil... stir until blended well. Turn out onto a floured surface and shape into loaf style .Move to a large loaf pan that has about 1/3 cup of oil in bottom. Cook for about 35 to 45 minutes or until center is not sticky. Let cool for a little before slicing.

- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 9×5 loaf pan with oil.
- In a bowl, whisk together the first 5 ingredients. Carefully stir in cheese cubes until covered in flour mixture, this will help prevent your cheese sinking to the bottom of your loaf of bread. In a different bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Fold the wet mixture into the flour and cheese mixture, stir until just combined, do not over stir. Spread the mixture into the loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and then remove from pan. Allow to cool for one hour before slicing and serving.

- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Grease the bottom and sides of a 10-inch cast iron skillet with the 2 tablespoons of vegetable shortening.
- Add the flour and 1/4 cup vegetable shortening to a large bowl. Use a pastry cutter or fork to work the shortening into the flour until you have coarse crumbs.
- Grate the butter into the bowl and stir gently to incorporate.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the buttermilk.
- Stir until all the dry ingredients are mixed in and you have a wet dough. Empty the dough into the cast iron skillet and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly golden on the top. Immediately invert the bread onto a plate. Cut into wedges and serve with butter, honey, jams, or jellies.
