BASIC PROTEIN SHAKE

Basic Protein Shake image

When I made the basic protein shake I used what I had on hand which was Body Fortress protein powder. I made the Mexican Chocolate shake. I did have to bump cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla extract for my taste. I got this recipe from Living & Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery Before & After. If at first you can not drink an entire shake in one sitting, make 2 smaller shakes, using half of the ingredients, to drink at different times during your day.

1/2 cup soymilk or 1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons zero carb isopure french vanilla shake powder

Steps:

  • Measure the milk and protein powder into the blender. Add the ice cubes along with the flavoring ingredients you have chosen and quickly pulse the blender on and off until the shake is well blended, creamy, and frosty.
