- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on all sides. Place in slow cooker and pour 1/4 cup barbecue sauce and vinegar on top.
- Cook on Low for 3 hours.
- Combine brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Pour out all the liquid from the slow cooker and add remaining barbecue sauce. Sprinkle chicken with brown sugar-spice mixture.

- Using a sharp knife, cut through the joint of each leg quarter to separate into 2 pieces. - 1. Place chicken in Crock Pot. (I throw mine in frozen and it works amazingly. You don't even need to break them apart!)
- 2. Mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and garlic together in a separate bowl. (Make sure brown sugar is fully blended.)
- 3. Pour BBQ mixture over chicken, making sure to coat the chicken evenly.
- 4. Replace lid and cook on high for 6 hours. If using thawed chicken reduce time to 4 hours so as not to burn the chicken.
