BROWN SUGAR & BANANA OATMEAL
Oatmeal is a favorite breakfast food, quick, easy and filling. I came up with this version by using some of the same ingredients from my favorite breakfast smoothie. Add bran cereal for a heartier taste and more fiber. A brown sugar substitute and soy milk also blend in well. -Jessi Rizzi, Odenton, Maryland

BAKED BANANA OATMEAL
I love baked oatmeal and make many different versions, but this is one of my kids favorites. It is really easy to throw together and smells so good. We like to eat it topped with vanilla yogurt.

APPLE, BANANA, OATMEAL TREAT FOR ONE
This is my guilt-free not-to-sweet treat; It is quick and easy in the microwave. I came up with this after falling in love with those new Quaker Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies in apple cinnamon flavor and after eating entirely too many I decided to come up with my own apple induced oatmeal. This makes for a thick oatmeal. Use more soymilk for a thinner oatmeal.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIE
This recipe has been handed down in my family for generations. It's a good way to use overripe bananas. It's also a moist cookie that travels well either in the mail or car. This is usually the first cookie to disappear at my house.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
To help interest my kids in cooking, I started with this recipe from my childhood. My mom made these oatmeal banana cookies when I was young. Now my children like them as much as I did, and we quadruple the recipe to serve our large family. You can't eat just one of these goodies packed with chocolate morsels. -Jaqueline Wilson, Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin

- Cook for 8-10 minutes until thick and creamy, stirring frequently so it doesn’t burn. I like to remove the pot from the heat after 8-10 minutes and let sit for a few more minutes to thicken a little more. If you want it a little creamier, stir in a little additional almond milk, light coconut milk or other plant milk of choice to reach desired consistency.
- Scoop into a bowl and add any desired toppings (chopped walnuts, blueberries or almond butter are delicious) and enjoy.
