LAYERED NACHO BAKE



Layered Nacho Bake image

A crowd pleasing combo of hot dip with fresh chopped toppings. The hit of a party or just cut recipe down to suit your needs.

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (15 ounce) jar salsa
1 (12 ounce) bag tortilla chips
¼ cup chopped iceberg lettuce
1 chopped green onions
1 tablespoon diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ cup diced avocado
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 tablespoon taco sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan; set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in the ground beef and onions. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly and evenly browned. Drain fat. Mix in the taco seasoning, and set aside.
  • Spread the refried beans to cover the bottom of the prepared 9x13 inch pan. Layer the cooked ground beef and onions evenly over the refried beans. Pour the jar of salsa over the ground beef and spread 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese over the salsa layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and the layers are heated through. Serve with tortilla chips and your choice of fresh toppings.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup water
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 ½ cups salsa
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Spread cream cheese in an even layer in the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Cook and stir beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, 5 to 10 minutes. Add water and taco seasoning mix; stir. Simmer until most of the liquid evaporates, 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Spread meat mixture over the cream cheese in the baking dish. Pour salsa over meat mixture. Top with Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake taco dip in preheated oven until bubbling and cheese is melted, about 20 minutes.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
¾ cup salsa
¾ cup shredded lettuce
¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning on a large plate or in a pie plate. Spread the salsa on top of the cream cheese-sour cream mixture. Top with lettuce and cheddar cheese.

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, drained
black olives, chopped
1/4 cup scallion, diced, including tops (or any mild onion)
1 cup tomatoes, diced
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
1 (6 ounce) can tomatoes and green chilies, drained

Steps:

  • Mix the refried beans and taco seasoning mix together for layer #1.
  • Mix the sour cream and evelope dry onion soup mix for layer #2.
  • Layer #3 green chiles; layer #4 black olives; layer #5 scallions; layer #6 tomatoes; layer #7 Mozzarella cheese; and layer #8 can tomatoes & green chiles.
  • Layer the ingredients in the order given in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • You may cover and refrigerate at this point.
  • Heat thoroughly in a 350 degrees F oven until bubbly, then serve with tortilla chips.

16 oz jar salsa, your choice
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
2 c grated cheddar cheese
8 oz cream cheese

Steps:

  • 1. brown hamburger meat and drain. mix taco seasoning to hamburger meat. add cream cheese to hamburger meat (cheese will melt). spread the mixture into a 9x13 pyrex dish.
  • 2. pour salsa over meat. then spread grated cheese on top. bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly brown. serve with nacho chips.

2 pounds ground beef
3 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, divided
3 cups salsa
1 package (10 ounces) frozen corn, thawed
1 cup sour cream
1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
6 cups tortilla chips

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in 2 cups cheese, salsa, corn, sour cream, chili powder and cumin; mix well. , Pour half into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with half of the chips; repeat layers. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
