BACON CHEESE SPREAD

This easy spread is wonderful to enjoy with friends at family or any gathering. Delicious with crackers or tortilla chips. Super easy to make.

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

5 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 8 ounce package cream cheese
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 to 3 drops hot sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
pinch cayenne

Steps:

Cook bacon, crumble and set aside. Combine cheddar, Monterey Jack, creamed cheese, horseradish, hot sauce and garlic powder in a bowl.
Microwave on high for about 1 1/2 minutes or until melted and you can stir it together
Remove from microwave and stir in crumbled bacon saving a few crumbles to put on top. Sprinkle a pinch of cayenne on top and refrigerate for a couple hours. Spread on assorted crackers. Makes about 2 1/2 cups. Enjoy!

16 oz cream cheese
3 16oz containers sour cream
2 jar(s) 3oz real bacon bits
5 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 of 8oz jar(s) prepared horseradish
1-2 pinch salt to taste

Steps:

1. Pretty Simple....Just combine all ingredients. You can add more or less Horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Add Salt for taste. Maybe a little milk if you feel your dip is too thick.
2. Serve with Potato Chips, or whatever else you're craving.

A co-worker brought this dip to a food day we always hold for office birthdays. I took one bite and was hooked! It is extremely simple, but absolutely addicting. I made it one time and went through the entire tub in a single evening.

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) container cream cheese
1/2 cup imitation bacon bits (or more if desired)
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon sour cream

Steps:

Let cream cheese soften a bit, then mix cream cheese, bacon bits, horseradish, and sour cream in mixing bowl. It's best if it's mixed very well - I use my hands just to make sure.
I also like it with lots of bacon and horseradish, so use your own judgement when adding.
Place mixture in a serving bowl or back in the cream cheese tub, and let sit in your refrigerator overnight.
Serve with Wheat Thins (my personal favorite), Ritz crackers, Triscuits, or any other snack cracker. Watch in amazement as your friends, family, or co-workers shove each other aside to get the last little bit from the bottom of the bowl!

I like to eat this on a roast beef sandwich! I also like to dip chips and crackers into this as well as french fries. I would double it (at least) for a party and serve with crackers. Use light sour cream OR light mayo, not both or the texture will be different. But if you don't mind that then by all means go right ahead! :) Cook time is chill time.

1/4 cup prepared horseradish
1 cup sour cream (can use light)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (can use light)
1 medium onion, minced very small
1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled very finely

Steps:

Put all ingredients into your blender.
Blend for 10-20 seconds, or until nice and smooth.
Put in a small bowl and chill for at least one hour for flavors to blend.
Serve with crakers, eat on a sammie or use as a dip for potato chips or fries.

16 oz sour cream
2 Tbsp (heaping) creamed horseradish
1 - 2 oz bacon crumbles
4 tsp dry minced onion
1/4 - 1/2 tsp lawry's seasoned salt
1/4 tsp jess hall's seasoned pepper (salt-free)
1-2 tsp minced garlic (if using powder, use 1/4 - 1/2 of that)

Steps:

1. Press most of the liquid out of the horseradish. Mix together all ingredients, adjusting amounts to suit your taste. Refrigerate dip for several hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to marry. Serve with ridged potato chips.

Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat before adding the 6 slices of hickory smoked bacon. Cook the bacon until crispy, remove from cast iron skillet and place on a bakers rack to drain off excess oil. Once the bacon has cooled chop the bacon into small pieces, reserve a small amount of the chopped bacon to garnish the top of the Bacon Horseradish and Cheddar Spread.
Place 8 ounces of cream cheese, sharp white cheddar, mild cheddar, sour cream, mayonnaise, steak sauce and the horseradish in a food processor, process the ingredients till creamy.
Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a glass dish, fold in 3/4 of the chopped bacon, 2 tablespoons of sliced green onion tops with the cream cheese mixture.
