Baby Greens Salad With Strawberries And Blue Cheese Recipes

STRAWBERRY AND MIXED GREEN SALAD

Steps:

• To make the dressing: In a small bowl whisk oil, vinegar, mustard, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until well combined.
• In a large bowl place greens, strawberries, cheese, and nuts. Pour as much dressing as you want over salad mixture and toss to combine Serve immediately.

BABY GREENS SALAD WITH STRAWBERRIES AND BLUE CHEESE

Steps:

• Make the dressing.
• Whirl the 3 to 5 strawberries in a blender with a dash of balsamic vinegar until puréed (or mash by hand).
• In a small bowl, whisk the 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, olive oil and sugar until well blended. Whisk in pureed berries.
• Place greens in salad bowl. Add desired amount of dressing and toss.
• Add almond slices and Blue cheese and lightly toss.
• Serve immediately.

STRAWBERRY BLUE CHEESE SALAD

Steps:

• Place the pecans in a skillet over medium heat. Tossing frequently, toast until lightly browned.
• In a bowl, whisk together the raspberry vinegar, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.
• In a large bowl, mix the toasted pecans, greens, strawberries, blue cheese, and red onion. Toss with the vinegar and olive oil dressing mixture to serve.

BABY GREENS WITH MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE

Steps:

• Combine mustard and vinegar in the bottom of a bowl. Stream in extra-virgin olive oil, whisking dressing as oil is added. Add greens to the bowl. Toss and turn greens with tongs to evenly coat them with dressing. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

MIXED GREEN SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY DRESSING

Steps:

• Mash enough strawberries to measure 1/3 cup. Place remaining strawberries in large bowl. Add greens, cheese, and nuts. Whisk oil, vinegar, and sugar in small bowl to blend. Whisk in mashed strawberries. Season dressing with salt and pepper. Add to salad; toss to coat.
